Christmas Shopping At the Gumball Machine
When my youngest son was painstakingly writing out each letter of each word that he asked me to spell for him (that was a painful experience), he had me spell bouncy balls and magic wand.
Those were the items he wanted most for Christmas and the only two items I couldn’t find when I went shopping.
It occured to me that bouncy balls are found in gumballs machines, duh. So I actually have to go find one that has bouncy balls in it.
The harder task will be to find a magic wand. I don’t want to disappoint him by not finding it for him because he keeps reminding me, "Remember mom, I want bouncy balls and a magic wand."
Ugh. I just want the shopping to be over with.
He’s a typical male……obsessed with wanting bouncy balls and a magic wand.

I officially weighed in this morning and I did NOT weigh in at 132.
On the bright side, I did 3 unassisted pullups (palms facing out). Next time I’m shooting for 5.
This is it for now. This afternoon, I’ll be headed out of state to visit family for the rest of the week and I won’t be online until next week.
Happy Chrismahanukwanza everyone!

Maybe Santa should leave a note that he is out of wands at the time and will mail one when they come back in stock! Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and great day, and super week, and a stellar hour! MUAH!

Hey Shannon, Did you try walmart and look for Harry Potter stuff - im sure they must sell some fancy magic wand with his name branded on it. Or another option could be buying a cheap magic kit. My son has one and it came with a basic black magic wand. Last suggestion would be to ask them one of the stores if they have any leftover halloween stuff in the back. Just a few ideas!
Have a fantastic holiday if I don’t happen to talk to you - and treat yourself - I know I will!!!

What! what do you mean you can’t find bouncy balls or wands? Erroneous! Bouncy balls at the Gumball Factory, and have you tried Ollivander’s Wand Shop, yet?…
Doesn’t seem like you were close you your 132 goal either. Were you? Well, at least your gettin stronger! Remember, muscle weights more than fat. Thats muscle your packin! Thats why you didn’t meet your weight goal.
Gonna miss your blogs, have a merry christmas, new years, and any other holidays y’all celebrate.

Sorry, a bit late for christmas. But my boys and their friends all have magic wands that USED to be my favorite fancy chopsticks. Each one (ok, every two) are different. Found em all over the place too: Target, pier one, wal-mart, etc. The secret was to give them only one at a time. For the older girls/friends we gave them to them wrapped up in an old silk scarf/handkerchief. Hope you had a good holiday.
