Diet Tweaks

One of the BB members gave me a spreadsheet he uses to keep track of his food intake and the percentages of Protein, Fat, and Carbs.  So far I’ve been working with 30% protein, 20% fat, and 50% carbohydrates.

I retain water like crazy…it’s just what my body does.  I find that if I eat pasta, bread, stuff like that…even whole grain versions, I retain water.  But if I keep the carbs plant based like beans, vegetables and fruits, I feel a LOT better, lighter, more energy, more awake.

I’ve shed some water weight since starting with this diet, so now it’s time to keep working so that the fat comes off!!

    If you’re retaining water, you might actually try drinking more water. I know it sounds counter productive, but it work.

    Logging calories is KEY! 80% of physique transformations are made in the kitchen. I log everything at www.fitday.com It’s free and may or may not be easier than the spread sheet you got.

    Hey you- also try it with cardio in the AM, 30/50/20 is OK, remember it is all about calories though
