Hoe Wielding Man In My Garage
Well, he wasn’t really "wielding" a hoe, but he was taking one out of the gardening rack as I walked into my garage yesterday. I was taking a bag of garbage down and as I walked into the garage, I saw a man standing in front of my car parked inside and he was taking a hoe out.
"Hi", I say, because I was completely stunned and couldn’t scream.
"Hi there", he says back to me.
"Who are you?"
"I’m here to replace the battery in your car."
"I don’t need my battery replaced."
He laughs and says, "Are you sure? You called me to replace the battery. Isn’t this (insert address here)?"
"Yes it is, but you want the house across the street….." And I explained to this unconvinced idiot even further why I thought so.
I got annoyed because wouldn’t I know whether or not my battery needed to be replaced and whether or not I called someone to come replace it???? What a dink he was.
He actually went as far as getting into my car, and popped the hood before I discovered him in the garage! He never ever came to my front door to announce his arrival.
Now I really can’t let myself continue to be a weakling because instead of a rude AAA guy, he could’ve been a hoe wielding maniac. I think I could fight a hoe wielding maniac if I continue strength training

Just wondering what a purpose a hoe holds when changing a car battery?

I know, right? I was so busy trying to convince him he was at the wrong house that I never thought to ask about the hoe.

Ummm….did you call AAA to tell them about their missing idiot? The fact that he had been IN your car first, and more importantly didn’t announce his arrival at the front door first thing, is just SCARY.

Yeah he was definitely there to steal your car. He probably grabbed the hoe when he heard the door open. You should have called the police.

Are you SURE he was from AAA? It sounds like a classic case of a burglar scoping out a likely target before coming back to make the entry. The hoe makes me incredibly suspicious. It could be used to break a window or to try to pry open a garage door.

No he was legit…just stupid.
My neighbor across the street came over just as I came out of the garage and she told him he was needed at HER house. I had seen her and her husband trying to jump start her car earlier in the day which was why I wasn’t scared once he told me about needing a battery replaced.
