Why do you love your blender? (4-8-09)

Hey everyone, my blender just broke today.  I managed to make my last daily shake, and then it failed on me.  I need to go out and buy a new one asap, and I am taking recommendations on what a good one to get is.  The one I had was the red Black&Decker with 5 speeds, a pulse and a glass container, which is a plus!  The new one I get, I want it to crush ice and liquid at the same time, where the one I had, I would  crush the ice separately, because it would get stuck among the fruit, ice and milk in it.  I am looking for that and preferably a glass contents container because glass, of course is better than plastic.  I was looking at the magic bullet, and really hoping they made it come with glass container cups, although its kind of small.  Overall I am looking for a strong, sturdy blender.  Please drop me a line and tell me what is good on the market, because I cant wait more than a couple of days to pick one up!!!

I recieved the Magic Bullet as a gift, I find it to be very useful for making a single sized smoothie.
If you make more then one serving at a time purchase the blender.
Compare motor size rather then brand name.

Hey, great arms you got there! i LOVE my kitchenaid blender. I bought it in Costco about 4 years ago and it cost almost $100 then so it musta been a top of the line model. it blitzes ice and blends everything totally evenly–protein powder chunks do not cling to the side at all. I would recommend any of the higher end kitchenaid models.
