Anyway, I gotta wake up at 6:30 am tmw….The reason is really good but I haven’t gotten up that early in forever! Tmw is going to be a looooooooong day.

**Edit** ~02/27/08~ Ya so I never made it to the gym b/c I have to study for my biology test tmw :( I’ll go tmw to do cardio though!

Taken from “52 Proven Stress Reducers”…

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

These are my favorite out of the 52 and if everyone tried their best to live by them, the world would be a nicer place :)

1.      Learn to live one day at a time.

2.      Every day, do something you really enjoy.

3.      Add an ounce of love to everything you do.

4.      Take a hot bath or shower (or a cool one in summertime) to relieve tension.

5.      Do something for somebody else.

6.      Focus on understanding rather than on being understood; on loving rather than on being loved.

7.      Do something that will improve your appearance.  Looking better can help you feel better.

8.      Schedule a realistic day.  Avoid the tendency to schedule back-to-back appointments; allow time between appointments for a breathing spell.

9.      Become more flexible.  Some things are worth not doing perfectly and some issues are fine to compromise upon.

10.  Eliminate destructive self-talk:  “I’m too old to. . .,”  “I’m too fat to. . .,” etc.

11.  Use your weekend time for a change of pace.  If your work week is slow and patterned, make sure there is action and time for spontaneity built into your weekends.  If your work week is fast-paced and full of people and deadlines, seek peace and solitude during your days off.  Feel as if you aren’t accomplishing anything at work?  Tackle a job on the weekend which you can finish to your satisfaction.

12.  “Worry about the pennies and the dollars will take care of themselves.”  That’s another way of saying:  take care of the todays as best you can and the yesterdays and the tomorrows will take care of themselves.

13.  Do one thing at a time.  When you are with someone, be with that person and with no one or nothing else.  When you are busy with a project, concentrate on doing that project and forget about everything else you have to do.

14.  Allow yourself time - everyday - for privacy, quiet, and introspection.

15.  If an especially unpleasant task faces you, do it early in the day and get it over with, then the rest of your day will be free of anxiety.

16.  Learn to delegate responsibility to capable others.

17.  Don’t forget to take a lunch break.  Try to get away from your desk or work area in body and mind, even if it’s just for 15 or 20 minutes.

18.  Forget about counting to 10.  Count to 1,000 before doing something or saying anything that could make matters worse.

19.  Have a forgiving view of events and people.  Accept the fact that we live in an imperfect world.

20.  Have an optimistic view of the world.  Believe that most people are doing the best they can.

**02/24/08** One of my goals…

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

So one of my goals has been to improve my flexibility and I gotta say I haven’t put much effort into it. Today I did some stretching after I got out of bed, but if I want to see some results I really got to try harder.

I also need to set a goal to be accomplished by a certain date :) Sooooo I think that will be:

I want to be able to do a full split by the summer.

Pics!

Saturday, February 23rd, 2008

So I put up some new ones that I took last night….As you can see my main areas of focus are my arms and calves. I am pretty happy with everywhere else. My abs are coming along nicely, even though I don’t train them near as much as I used to.

Just woke up and going to make myself some cottage cheese pancakes! Yes I know it’s 2:55 pm but I didn’t have to use the alarm today and that’s what happens :)

**02-21-08** Finally!

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

I have finally succeeded in finding my camera’s usb cord YAY! Progress pics tmw night since I have Bio Lab HW and gotta hit up the gym tonight. Tues/Thurs are usually my roughest days with classes, since for some retarded reason I put 3 hard classes in one day.

**02/20/08** Leg day again! W/O

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

So does anyone notice that I am a bit biased! Well I am b/c I love working out my legs and my poor little arms get left behind :( LoL….Slight exaggeration, but my lower body is where I tend to store most of my weight so my upper body is always leaner anyway.

As for cardio, running up and down 5 flights of stairs in the parking garage at school (with books in tow) has been the majority of my cardio, but I plan to start picking it up as the bikini months start approaching. Must build muscle first, then shed the fat! **drills that into my head**

People probably think I am crazy when I start skipping stairs and taking them 2 at a time. I should look at them and yell " FEEL THE BURN BABY" as I run  by.

I am thrilled that I was able to 170 Donkey calf raises today!!! I know that isn’t much to you hardcores but to me that’s an accomplishment!

For all those people that care about the environment….

Thursday, February 14th, 2008

I am in love with planet earth… I bought it in blu-ray this christmas b/c I think it’s the greatest thing. We need to wake up and realize the effect that we have on the environment, b/c we are killing such beautiful creatures :(
Anyway, here are some websites that may interest you if you care about this stuff:
