Squats

Deadlifts

Donkey calf raises

Leg extensions and glute raises

Doh I forgot to do walking lunges :( Oh well gonna go do them now lol!

So I am feeling much better and I started working out again YaY! Today I did 20 minutes of cardio to kick start my training. Didn’t want to overexert myself too much so I didn’t use as much resistance as I usually do.

Ughh

I am so sick! Ever noticed that whenever people get sick in University they don’t stay home and rest it out…they just come to school and spread it around! Stay home and rest up people…I know I know it’s a pain in the butt to get caught up b/c the teachers can be evil sometimes, but getting everyone else sick is not nice. It is like a flu recycling machine during this time of year.
So I’ve been home trying to keep my germs to myself instead of spreading them around :) My w/o schedule has been on hold. On a brighter note, I am getting better~!!!

Well as I guessed I am extremely sore…Sitting down and standing back up is not so easy.
I think I may do some yoga tonight to stretch my legs out…not sure if it is a bad idea to stretch while sore though…can’t see it being bad, guess I gotta hit up the search button on the forums. If I do it, I definitely wouldn’t do any of the strength moves, just stretches.
Definitely not going to the gym today…So I guess I will hit up calves and lower back and abs tmw.

Wow Today I had a killer w/o with my P.T. She is training for a fitness comp. later this year and her body is in incredible shape and she worked out with me…it was so fun!
W/O

Squats

Walking Lunges

Leg Press

Leg Extensions

One Leg Ham Curls

And some Glut machine that kicked my glutes

Then I asked her to show me how to do Deadlifts in correct form…so she showed me Romanian Deadlifts and Straight legged Deadlifts.

Didn’t get to calves today because I was sooooo tired after doing all that. Guess I’ll do calves tomorrow.

I’m going to be sooo sore tmw.

My food choices were not terrific today, but hey could be worse right :) ?

Breakfast -
I had egg, bacon, cinnamon raisin bagel and water

Brunch-

3 F.F CC pancakes (lol when I got home my hubby just woke up so I had breakfast again)

Lunch-

a rotisserie Chicken leg and half an Italian Panini

Snack-

Tangarine and Salad (broccoli, tomato, and greens)

Dinner-

1 fillet of Tilapia and a sweet potato

Supplements:

Multi and 2 fish oil tabs

Today was Cardio day! I did 15 mins of HIIT and 10 mins on the bike.

The HIIT kicked my butt!!! I tried one of the new machines, which is like the newer version of the stepper….I don’t think I have done such an intense cardio workout. I really liked it though…definitely doing that again :)

My next cardio day is set for Monday since my legs are going to be sore on Sunday.

New Year’s Resolution

Hi!

Welcome to my bodyblog for 2008! I have decided to kick my dedication to bodybuilding up a notch and take it more seriously this year.

I have hired a personal trainer (my first session is tomorrow) and I am tightening up my diet b/c over the Christmas break, I had too many goodies….

I don’t have any problems with motivation, but when my school schedule and my other responsibilities get too demanding, the first thing that takes a backseat is usually cooking healthy meals. This year that is not going to be the case, and I am going to be more organized with my meal planning.

I am also going to keep up with my progress pics, as soon as I can find the USB cord for my camera :)
