We often think of pro bodybuilders as just those big guys on stage. But in actuality they are just people too with hopes, aspirations, businesses, jobs and families. And that is the story of Moe Moussawi. I had the chance to shoot with Moe and his family for New Zealand Fitness Magazine. I usually don’t do much in the way of families or kids but this was great fun!

Our first Navy guy who made the Iron Man Magazine BodySpace Physique of the Month was John Perry. John flew in for his photoshoot to Palm Springs from Washington and I was so appreciative, I bought him his own airplane…

Well maybe not. I remember his wife was about 8 1/2 months pregnant at the time so she was very forgiving about letting him go. Go visit his BodySpace and you might remember seeing him in front of this airplane in BodyBuilding.com ads that have been running in all of the magazines.

Our very own SuperMaine who leaps tall buildings in a single bound and is more powerful than a locomotive has made the front page of the BodyBuilding.com SuperSite!

One of my favorite times of the year is about to begin, Summer! And what do you do in the Summer? You go the the beach, specifically Muscle Beach at World Famous Venice California. Right on the boardwalk where muscles were born will be the first of three bodybuilding shows over the Summer on Memorial Day Weekend. This year it is a 3 day event and you never know who you will see out there…

And this year is the 75th Anniversary of Muscle Beach so at each show, Memorial Day weekend, July 4th and Labor Day, you can expect there will be a lot of fun stuff going on. Muscle Beach will be the place to be, so plan on it!
