I have a gallery opening shortly, multiple photo shoots to deliver, multiple photos shoots yet this week, but I am still getting to the gym…

Not an easy thing for me to do to break away from my work but I have decided just to do it. And yesterday that hour on the treadmill did clear my head and I needed it for sure!

Bodybuilder Robert Hatch from a photo shoot we did last year…

And doing some curls…

One series from this photo shoot went on to be the cover and a multiple page story in Planet Muscle Magazine.

Yes and thanks to all of you who have asked. I am still at my own fitness journey. Today was a very pleasant 90 minutes on the treadmill, worked up a good sweat and I really enjoyed it.

Watched a documentary on my iPhone, watched the airplanes taking off at the airport and talked to a buddy on the treadmill next to me. Also talked with a girl I will be photographing on Tuesday. She was getting ready with some treadmill time of her own, but she is pretty much always ready. Good times…

On the newsstands now is the March issue of Iron Man Magazine and the BodySpace Physique of the Month is “StachedWalker“! Go on out and get a copy and read the story about Richard Greene’s racewalking, his adventure in health and fitness, and his home right here on BodySpace. And be sure to visit “StachedWalker” here on his BodySpace and give him a round of applause!

And yes I made Richard do a lot of early morning walking so I could shoot the photos I did have in mind. We also had an hour’s drive to get there. I think it was worth it, this photo is great fun! Don’t you think!

As I said in my prior post, last year I was the still photographer on two upcoming documentaries and now I am on a third. So this weekend I was shooting in Los Angeles at a lot of locations over a lot of hours. So here are a few…
In a photo studio in Venice, IFBB Figure Pro Jane Awad…

And some martial arts…

Then off to a tailor shop to watch bodybuilder Jerome “Hollywood” Ferguson get measured up for a suit. Buying off the rack for Jerome does not work…

Into the evening we went up to Topanga Canyon for some Spa time with my good friend and fitness model Cara Basso…

And still after that were some clubs and dance floors…

The next day was spent at ‘Muscle Beach”…

And while we were there, we met up with bodybuilding legend, Franco Columbo…

The day finished up with some shooting on Venice Beach…

That was 20 hours of photography for me over two days. It was a lot of work, early mornings and late hours, but much fun! I hope you like photos!

Well I am off to Los Angeles again for three days. This time to do the still photography on a documentary in development for television. Two very long days of shooting ahead for Saturday and Sunday, but tomorrow will be not rushed anyway. I worked on two of these projects last year and it was great fun. Here is a behind the scenes photo I shot from one of them at a Gold’s Gym in Oxnard, California…

To all the very many of you I met and got to see again at the FitExpo, that was great! And to even more of you who I missed but called and text messaged, I will see you soon, and it was great hearing from you. I had photo shoots to do in a nearby studio in downtown Los Angeles, it was a work weekend, so not all play for me. But of course it seems like it even when I am working I guess.
The Expo was just great, more booths than ever and lots of many things going on. Great bodies on stage, powerlifting, cage fighting and so much more you could not see it all. Every bodybuilding star was there including former Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout, my buddy Joe Antouri from ProPTA and that guy… Ronnie Coleman.

Lots of shows coming up in Southern California, so I hope to see you there!

I will be at the FitExpo this weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Pick Saturday or Sunday and go too, it is well worth it!

Over 250 exhibitors plus all kinds of events from Powerlifting, MMA and great bodies on stage and more! This is one of my favorite Expos! Only the Olympia and the Arnold compare. So especially if you are in Southern California, be there! And you can get a discount coupon here on BodyBuilding.com!
So look for me there and if you want to reach me send me a note. Also all of my contact info is right here on my BodySpace. See you there!

Staying with lots of treadmill for the next two weeks as well as pounding some weights…

Also changing up my eating habits, I eat a lot of food anyway, but going with very clean proteins and vegetables etc around 6 times per day. Actually that is my favorite way to eat anyway. Never had anything like a "sweet tooth" or any of those other food cravings so not an issue for me.
I have a lot of photography work over the next few weeks including the next two weekends out of town. So my hotel choices are those with a good gym for convenience.
