So with a new year comes a new program, which I’m sure a lot you have decided to do. I’ve changed my workout to four exercises from the original five and now I’m doing 5 sets of ech exercise instead of four. I have to admit, that over the holidays got a little on the lazy side and actually lost five pounds. I’ve been very consistent as of January 1st, I have worked out every day so far in the new year for the exception of one day and have put on seven pound since the new year with my new program. My job has actually given me a promotion since the new year so here comes the extra work. So on days when I work in the morning from 7am - 3pm I go work out around 4:30 and on the days I’m off I work out in the morning at 10:00, so far I think I’m balancing the two well. So thats what keeping me busy in 2008 thus far.

good news, i’ll be back in the gym tomorrow, my foot isn’t bothering me me anymore, even though there is still quite a hole in the bottom of it. but anyway it’s back to the grind in the morning as i attack my shoulders.

well the other day my training was put on hold for a few days when i was in my backyard moving some garden logs when i stepped on a 10" spike which then went right into my foot and almost out the otherside, so my training has been put on hold for the next few days.

i enjoyed do each body part for 20 sets so much that i have actually changed my routine to just that. Heres a look at my new routine:
Day 1 Shoulders 20 sets Traps 8 sets Calves 8 sets
Day 2 Back 20 sets
Day 3 Chest 20 sets Calves 8 sets
Day 4 Bis 20 sets and Tris 20 sets
Day 5 Quads 12 sets Hams 8 sets Traps 8 sets
Day 6 30 minutes on a stair master Abs 20 sets
Day 7 OFF

i just finished the 20 sets per body part a day workout and its time for a rest day then back to the superset workouts.

i’ve decided that along with my 4 days on 1 day off, on the 4th round of the scheduale i’m going to just go balls to the wall 1 body part a day with about 20 sets for each body part.
