Weight: 226 HOLY CRAP I AM GETTING LEANER AND GAINING LBM!

 

 

Today was an OFF day. I crushed it for two days in a row and today I recovered and let it GROW. I am up to 226 and as you saw from my last pic, I am dropping fat and gaining LEAN MASS! HOLY CRAP! The last time I got to 226, I was eating ~5k calories. Now, I am eating Cut Diet style with 2,600 calories daily and 3,100 calories on carb nights every 3rd night. I am in the freaking zone!

 

And with this go-around, I now know the IMPORTANCE of off days. All I did was 35 minutes of LI cardio and of course, office pallet building and box moving!

My back needs to grow, and grow it did. Nationals in 229 days. We hit it from all angles and made sure that nothing was left at the end. I woke up this morning at 225! I am also leaner from what I can tell and the Cut Diet is doing wonders for me! Check it out!

I brought back some bodypart splits for a change and hit chest. 229 days out from Nationals, bitches. My chest feels fine, but I am having BAD mental issues. I will have flashbacks to my pec tearing and hear the noise. It makes me want to vomit everytime. So, as you can imagine, training chest and even going light is a hell of a crappy experience. I still got pumped, jacked and got it done and it was an amazing workout. Screw mental issues, it’s game time. If you can smell what The Machine is defecating! I made my chest my bitch and then I pimp slapped my biceps around just for kicks and giggles. I did some nasty pump sets and I didn’t even notice that the gym was busier than normal at 9pm. I just kept pumping and between sets, I’d hit chest poses and the veins would jump out like an Amish guy in Tokyo. It was insane. The Haterade in the thread over the weekend has pushed me over the edge. “I’m on the edge and just waitin’ on a hater to push me!”

232 days out. Damn, my arms suck. I have legs tomorrow with the Asian Disaster, so I felt that my time would be best spent building up these weak ass twigs rather than running. This would also allow my legs to be ready for torture tomorrow. My arms are not ready yet. I needed to pound them. They need to grow. And that I did. Volume, intensity and just stupidity. I then stretched my arms (I always stretch the bodyparts I worked PWO) and did my cardio and I am done for the day. My diet is perfect.

 

Kurt Weidner is prepping for his pro show and sent me this yesterday. If y’all don’t know, Kurt is the most shredded natural or hell, even enhanced bodybuilder I have ever seen and is a Team Scivation athlete, one of the select, few, elite athletes on this amazing team. He is also one of my best friends. His writings always make me realize why I do what I do. We want the best and do not settle for mediocrity. Without further ado, Kurt’s words:

 

“18 weeks out

Another weekend in paradise. What was I doing? Thinking about blasting shoulders on a Sunday morning when all the other f***ers are still sleeping. Saturday morning my ass was on the treadmill at 6am thinking about what I needed to do this season so I can bring it when I step onstage. Of all the horrible things in life that can happen to you, disappointment is the worst…probably because it’s usually the result something you had the ability to control. 18 weeks…that means a limited number of opportunities to leave it all out there, so when I step onstage I’ll know I took every measure possible to be my best. How many others can say that? It doesn’t matter. All I worry about is me. If the guy standing next to me at the end of the night on show day worked as hard and was able to beat my best I’ll turn to him, shake his hand and congratulate him….but if he beats anything less than my best, then I will forever question myself and live with the pain until given the opportunity to redeem myself. For 18 weeks that’s what I’ll be thinking about because I’d rather endure any degree of pain in the gym on a daily basis than live with the pain of knowing I could have been better!!!”

My broke ass pec. NOT ACCEPTABLE. 233 days until Natonals, I need to be in tact and ready to out-sexy everyone. Thus, I took a week off after my last pec strain. Today, I decided to come back SLOW and low and behold, no pain at all! I will not be stupid like last time and dumbbell fly 120lb dumbbells for 6 reps and strain it again. Oh no, kid, the Machine is coming back slower than Al Gore running after a carrot. Yes, Al Gore is still fat. I went up in weight slow and did my reps ULTRA slow. My chest got pumped, as pumped up as Kelly Pickler’s new boobies.

 

My shoulders got a decent workout even after my chest reawakening and my triceps were strong and very, very veiny.

 

My diet is spot on and I am dialed in. 233 days until the world sees this hard work. Unless I start stripping for extra money before that.

Weight: 223 after carb meal. Full, veiny, abs deeper and just plain nasty!

 

 

Holy crap. There are only 234 days left in my prep. OH NOEZ! Time to step it up. This is Nationals afterall and there is no room for error. None. This is why I went in to train back today with the visualization of my back growing as big and wide as the entire stage. I want to be that guy with the big, striated back, glutes and hams. I was just talking to Chuck about how I felt after last night’s carb meal. I was full, veiny, and in the gym this morning, I had more veins than I have ever had in my life! Chuck the said, “Wait until five to six week out.” I am now even more determined to kick some ass.

 

I went in and hit it from all angles. I did it like this, I did it like that, I did it with the waffle ball bat. I had the sickest, most intense full body pump and vein show I have ever had, and those who know me know that I am one veiny bastard.  This was the workout that will help win Nationals for me. This is how Team Scivation rolls.

HIIT and Posing

This is where my leg conditioning will meet its maker. My hammies just looked sick and veiny DURING this event Even my glutes were on fire. I am dialed in.

 

I do not represent Marc Lobliner, I represent the greatest group of bodybuilders ever assembled, Team Scivation, as well as the reputation of gurus Chuck Rudolph and Derek Charlebois. I will not let these people down. I will make sure that everyone is proud of me when I step on that stage and everyone looks up and says, “Holy crap, that bastard is dialed in.” I also want my daughter and son to look back at this and feel a sense of pride with what their Daddy accomplished. And on top of all that, I hope to get some victory sex from my wife.   J
