Decided to change my training goal to more of a cutting oriented goal. I’m having a hard time getting rid of BF and getting size, without gaining too much weight. I’ve got military standards I have to uphold. Kinda frustrating. So for now, I’m focusing on increasing cardio, while still lifting. Just not as heavy, I guess. Once I get my body down to a desired weight and feel, then I could probably slowly increase my lifting weight. Any ideas or suggestions out there?

Looking forward to working the back tonight. It’s been a couple of weeks since I hit those muscles due to work restraints. Feeling kinda blah, but will drive on dammit. Making slow progress in other areas, so that’s cool. It’s so hard to patient at times. Hope everyone has a killer workout day. Aloha.

I’m sitting here thinking about the two work meetings I have to go to tonight and counting the hours till I hit the gym. Can’t wait. It’s Bicep/Tricep night with some calves and abs for good measure. Favorite workout. Hope everyone has a great day.

Well, here I am. Been working out 6 days a week for about a month. Have seen increase in strength, muscle density and such, but BF does not seem to be going down. I’m currently deployed, so diet is hard to control. I am eating pretty clean 3 times a day and throwing in protein shakes in between. I do a 10 min cardio warmup before lifting and 15 mins of HIIT training on the treadmill/or bike after each workout. Not enough cardio I guess. If anyone can offer some advice, that would be great. Thanks in advance. Take care.
