The First 2 Weeks
As December comes to an end, so ends room for inconsistancy in training and overindulging. I am now 14 weeks from a figure competition that is very important to me, my home-town provincial. This is a show I competed in 6 years ago and did very poorly. After years of sparatic training and weight fluxuation, I am finally ready to step on to that stage again, this time, with an agenda. To Place in the top three. Today my journey begins. I am dreading these first two weeks as I find they are the toughest two weeks of the entire training process. You are so far away from the show date that it is easy to make excusses, cheat on your diet and skip workouts. But I cannot… I need to do this. Just wondering if anyone is intereted in sharing their motivational stratagies…. I need all the help I can get.

While the beginning to any comprehensive journey seems like the most difficult; handled correctly and with focus, the beginning often times provides the best memories…Try to enjoy every step of the ride, for after the goal is accomplished, the journey is where the memories will reside. Just some hazy thoughts….

Just think of the joy you will feel when you finish where you want too. Then all the hard work will have been worth it.

I was about to start a new blog and read this old one.
I actually placed third and was very happy that I reached my goal. Today I am starting day 1 of a 12 week diet for my next show. It’s a bigger show so my goal is top 5!!
Wish me luck
