Well this is the first time I’ve posted since my original blog almost 10 months ago. I did pretty good during my spring semester and actually did reach my goal weight of 260 lbs. Unfortunately, I slacked a little bitĀ over the summer as I was swamped with summer classes and let myself get back up to 270. Well, since the end of August I have been strict on my diet and have gotten myself down to 251 lbs. Only 2 more pounds to go before I reach, what I consider to be, a major milestone for myself. My new goal is to reach 230 lbs by the end of the year and hopefully be somewhere between 200-210 lbs by the time Spring Break rolls around. I am going to stay strict with my diet and exercise and strongly believe that I can achieve both of my goals.

Today is January 5th, 2007 and three days from now I will begin my weight loss journey. I started to try to cut my weight from 295 down to 260 in late October and did fairly well (lost 10 pounds in the first month) until I decided I wanted to powerlift and stopped trying to cut all together. Well now here I am in January, fresh with my holiday weight, and I am back up to 295. Monday I will begin dieting and doing cardio at least 5 times a week and hopefully by the end of the spring semester of college(mid May) I will be close to my weight loss goal. I will try to keep this updated as often as possible.
By the way, just this past week I reached my goal of a 300lb Bench Press : )
