hahaha… Ive been laughing lately to keep from crying. :-/ I feel like such a freaking fatty!! I have been so busy with work, coaching basketball, studying and flag football, literally going from 7 am until 9 sometimes 10pm, that I havent been to the gym in …. I cant even say it! Ive tried getting up in the morning to work out, but ya girl is not a morning person especially when im not getting much sleep and going all day. Ive even considered going late at night but ive been so emotionally drained lately that I havent had the drive to go
Flag Football is going so slow its saddening, my alternative outlet is letting me down. lol There is one more tournament which is nationals and it should be interesting. We are 13-1-1 i just learned tonight. My girls bball team is doing well also, with a record of 5-0. So, I guess everything isnt so bad after all :-/

I feel like i may be at a plateau. Still gettin the cardio and abs in, but of course not like i want. Im seeing a descent change on the scale, im down to 170 now. I usually fluctuate between 3-5 pounds, but im hoping to continue to drop the pounds.
Thanksgiving is going to be tough being that I will be home and in the presence of a lot of food Ive cut back on. My family is from the south, so you can imagine what our Thanksgiving table is going to look like. Turkey, ham, collard greens, mac-n-chees, potato salad, dressings, chicken and rice, candied yams, cakes, pies and candies… and the list goes on.
I plan on using this time to focus on a little discpline. Its going to be hard, but I have come too far and have a ways to go.

Hello all,
Its been a minute since I last blogged but when I say I havent had time, its an understatement. Im still going strong. I think im turning into a cardio junkie. Its really all I can do right now cause of everything else im doing, plus the fact that i work out with a friend who really isnt a fan of weights. I finally got into spinning and i LOVE it! But, now that ive started coaching bball my schedule is thrown off to where my workout is an hour before the class starts.
I went hard at it for a good month straight, now i crave it.
Flag football is going. Hopefully, we will do much better in the next tournament after placing 2nd in the first one. I can definately feel a difference on the field this year compared to last year. I can go both ways now (haha…no pun intended).

The workout habit is alot better now. I have been in spinning for the past 2weeks and going strong. I havnet been lifting like i want because i dont have as much time as i would like but i am getting plenty of cardio and abs in. I try to compensate for weights by doing calisthenics, but i definately need to work them in to get the total effect i want. About to start flag football, so i am starting to work in sprints and hills.
I love where i am right now. I havent lost much weight but my clothes are fitting differently because im tightening up.

After a week with one day left to complete 4 days im feeling pretty good. I have been in the gym for about a month now but this week will be my first full week.
Im feeling great and inspired to keep going. I have touched on every body part and I can feel my body tightening up. I also see results on the softball field. When Im hitting I can feel everything work as one. I have also been eating alot better. No sweets, and about 5 or 6 meals a day when im on it. Only bad things is that I slacked off from eveything on wednesday. I didnt eat well or move around much. I wasnt really sore I think it was fatigue. before my workout on Tuesday I hit batting practice for about 2 hours or so. But other than that everything is going fine. Im excited to finish this week and start next week.

Now that the crazy working hours of my old job is over, Im back on the softball field to PLAY and in a better mood to transform my body. For the entire summer I have only had the opportunity to squeeze in a day here and a day there to work out. Traveling from tournament to tournament, "coaching" was quite frustrating when thinking about where I was in refrence to my fitness goals. I had NO time for myself. I had not played in over 2 months and it was getting pretty depressing. Being that softball is my passion it also serves as my motivation to work out outside of the softball field. FINALLY, I am back at it. I play tomorrow and im pumped.
