Is it true that every addiction is a bad addiction? I think I’m becoming a gym addict. Everyday, working out is all I can think about. Working out is the highlight of my entire day…..and if I miss a day - I feel guilthy and lethargic. Yesterday was the last day of my exams and instead of partying it up or going straight to Mississauga to be with my family, the only thing I wanted to do was get into my car, roll down the windows, open up the sun roof, play my music and head off to the gym for a seriously intense workout….and that’s exactly what I did…despite the fact that I was due to pick my best friend up at 8pm and head to Mississauga together - (note that I finished up at the gym at 7:45pm)…..And now I’m thinking about heading off to the gym again even though I know I'’m going to be drained when I go out with my friends tonight….

Nothing wrong with being dedicated to something you love.
However, we only get the one life to live, and partying and spending time with friends and family is part of that experience. You have to be well rounded, you know?

Enjoy the social life that surrounds your college days. Once there gone, you can’t get them back. The gym will be there when you need it.

Its only dangours if it is ther ONLY thing you can think of. Looking foward to it and that feeling that we get after we workout is a good thing. You do need to stay focosed and train but you do need to experience a night life. Going out with your friends doesnt mean you have to miss a work out or drink like a rock star. Be true to yourself.
