Am I crazy or what?
So I got the bright idea of doing fitness this year and decided to try to put together a routine 2 months out. Bear in mind that I’m in my 30s and I haven’t done gymnastics in about 20 years and have no dance back ground. Yet for some odd reason, I thought this wouldn’t be a problem with 2 months worth of work. HA HA HA. So I’m exactly 2 weeeks away and I still have not done the whole routine all the way through. Heck, I just got the stupid one handed push-up this week and my center splits aren’t exactly there. WTF? So what to do? Drop out and just stick with figure? Do the damn routine anyway just for the experience? If it was a small local show maybe I wouldn’t be so freaked out, but it’s a national level show for heaven’s sake! What was I thinking?

Whatever your decision is about the Fitness competition, is solely up to you. Good luck either way, your physique looks great.

ITS GREAT TO GET OUT THERE AND COMPETE. EVEN BETTER IF YOU WIN! HOWEVER, DON’T FORGET ITS ALSO ABOUT ABOUT HAVING SOME FUN TOO!!

I’ve wanted to do fitness for a while… I just got back in the gym to get my tumbling back on track (haven’t done that in 10 years!), so I’m hoping maybe I can do fitness next year… when I get better at all the different elements… but sticking with figure for now…
Look at the bright side, figure is always an option or you can aim for a later fitness show!
Either way good luck!
