I went to the river (Havasu) this past weekend, and I stood up wakeboarding my first time which was pretty cool. But I guess I was standing wrong on the board they were saying, and thats why my lower back is hurting right now. I am pretty sore from the experience, especially my arms and back. But that probably has something to do with the fact that it was bicep and back day the day we left for the river. So I had like a double workout haha.

I hope I never feel the way I felt last night again. It was my 21st birthday and i went to a baseball game… got hammer drunk. I don’t think I’ll ever drink like that again. I feel too crappy the next day.

I have been trying to gain weight alot lately. I’ve been working out alot, cut down my cardio quite a bit, and eating a lot. I currently take a whey protein shake, but I haven’t been adding weight… in fact, I recently just dropped a few pounds! How does that happen to a skinny kid like me!! Any suggestions would help people…

So I had decided to stop working out my legs, stupidly, for the past 3 weeks or so. That was really dumb of me because a) it’s the muscle group I should be working the hardest because I’m weakest there b) It causes unproportionality from upper to lower body after a while c) when you start back up again, it hurts. So yesterday I decided to start them back up again… and they hurt… like hurt real bad. Like hurts to walk. haha And I have a walk/run to attend on Saturday for breast cancer… I hope I’ll make it.

I want to add muscle and gain weight. I would like to hit 155 lbs. by say… winter time. I’m currently at 137. Basically… I need help with what kind of products I should take. The information here is overwhelming with people using all kinds of different supplements. Right now… the only thing I’m taking is Nu-Tek Pro5 Whey Protein. I do not want to take Creatine. Also… direct me to websites or articles that would enlighten me on certain kinds of supplements and what they mean. I keep hearing "anabolic" and that kind of scares me because I automatically tag that to steroids, which I’m definitely not a fan of. Also, if someone could tell me how I might be able to effectively use these supplements and kinda tell me what kind of exercises work best for adding muscle faster and what not. Thanks… I know this is a lot… but I’m a greenhand at this and feeling overwhelmed.
