Over the last few weeks ive been struggling really hard to get the cardio into my workout. i attempt a routine for a week or two, a little hiit sprints in hte morning every day for a week. then out of both boredom and lack of variety i jack it in. Motivation for cardio starts strong nad by the end of the week its at an all time low. this causes an iregularity in my routine and the routine, and effect, is lost.
So what im attempting is to use a deck of cards to shake things up. by assighning a different cardio excercise to the suite and then selecting a card to dictate the cardio to be done. for instace clubs equate to a standard to long run, Diamonds are HIIT sprints, spades are kettlebell workouts and hearts are a boxing based routine.
I always have a deliberation as to what cardio to do, wanting to be a jack of all trades who does kettlebells, hiit and everything in between. this idea shakes things up, attempts to revive my lagging cardio committment. primarily it removes the chose. ive got to do what the card says!
