reaching My Goals

September 22, 2009

I wanted to put a few words down on this computer to let everyone know that my initial goals of shrinking my waist and streamlining myself is coming along nicely. I have about eight total days before my class is officially over and I have rally made a difference in my overall appearance. If you have been watching the progress pictures than you know exactly what I mean by that and you to see the change in my body and confidence.  When the course is over I am going to hit the Power 90x series hard and make the change in my appearance for me, along with my wife and son. I want her to be able to wash clothes on my stomach and I want to see the desire in her eyes when she looks at me. Even now with my changes I see the desire and the wanting, and that make all the difference in the world. But I have to send many thanks out to everyone that has been motivating me and keeping me on track in the fitness arena.  Thank you all and keep up the motivation, it really does help.  God Bless

Living Life and making it happen!

September 16, 2009

To all that put some time into reading the words that I write….Thank you…Enough of that, I had a awesome today with starting off with a kille cardio low impact training session that only lasted 1-hour but put my body through some wonderful routines that I had not done so far in my workout schedule. Even though today was a day of rest from the two a day workouts, i had plenty of energy and I am looking forward to tomorrow and what it will bring me my desire to make myself a better man, husband, father and over-all person. I am making this change because I am loving looking at my body in the mirror and finally seeing changes. I have waited so long for this I am not going to allow the motivation to stop.

I want to feel the pump in the veins and the different muscle groups so that the feeling of fullness will lastt longer after each workout session. I really am pushing myslf to see the abs underneath the fat, and I know that once the muscles have filled in and they do not have any room to share with the fatty tissues that the fat will start to burn at a larger rate than it is now. With dedication and desire I know that I can accomplish anything that is thrown at me. I welcome the challenges and dare negativity to raise it’s nasty head and try to bring me down.

With the motivation from this site, my wife, son and friends I know that dedication such as this, right now, will not stop. Thank you all and have a great time working out and kicking in doors.

Enjoying Life

September 7, 2009

You know I wanted to put a few thoughts down on this elelctronic paper, and these few things are (1) people that motivate me with their mind-sets, (2) the dedication of family support, and finally (3) my brother.

First off, let me type about the individuals and their mind sets that motivate the hell out of me, with the constant strive to inspire and ensure that goals are met.  I mean, even though these people and I have never met in person, they take time out of their lives to write a few lines down of motivation and to ensure that the level of intensity is always there. Could it be that when they do this, they themselves motivate each other. I think that this is the case and that is so awesome, that complete strangers can motivate one another in the same disires of life and that is to get in shape and have a little extra time with the people that make them feel whole.

Secondly, the family support or the support from friends that keep the drive of working out and the drive to keep on the wagon of eating right and not let the monster of dispair raise its nasty head. I think, no, I know that without family or loved ones (friends included) that nothing can really be accomplished. I would like to think that there is always someone out there that we want to impress and show that "look, I can do it".

Finally, my brother, even though he is younger than by 5 years, I think that he is one smart cookie. He keep me in line and for that I am really thankful. I really only want to give him a shout out and say "I love you Bro and thanks for everything.

Every take care and have a great week and enjoy the pump.

Gastric Bypass And Physical Fitness

August 25, 2009

This goes out to anyone that has a loved one that has gone through the Gastric Bypass Surgery and has some sort of physical fitness workout program. My wife has gone through the procedure to assist in her having more time with me and our son and now I want to help her out with finding a program that will assist in tightening up the skin (doesn’t matter to me) since the our insurance does not think that it effects her in any way. The focus is the inner thighs, arms (near armpit) and abs (stomach has a lot of excess skin). I look forward to any suggestions since I live workingn out and eating right (because of her). She is my foundation and now I want to be hers. Thanks to all the BB that have some thoughts on this issue.

Bring It on Tuesday!

August 25, 2009

About to start the day 6:00am and energy levels are high and I haven’t even had breakfast yet. The diet and new workout routine seem to be working out. I cannot wait until my wife gets back from her trip so I can get her into the gym and together we can work on the Pump. THe explosion of blood into the veins and the stretching of the skin from the workouts. I think, no I know she will enjoy it too.  One quetion though, anyone out there have Gastic Bypass Surgery and totally recovered in the world of physical fitness? Thanks I an will update post with workout and motivation levels later today. God Bless and stay safe.

Motivation Levels for Monday are Awesome

August 24, 2009

This Monday was not an ordinary Monday in the world of working out and cardio sessions. My enegery level was through the roof and I was able to run a little faster and further than before. I think that my eating right is finally paying off for me and I think, no I know that if I continue to do this routine than the middle fat around my mid section will finally dissappear. I really want to see the six pack that I am trying to make happen. My workout with weights increased by 10-pounds overall and this in itself is good to go too. I can’t wait until Tuesday and see how everything goes for me. Thanks to everyone that is motivating me in my desire to make myself better for my family as well as myself.

Sore But Pushing Through It!

August 19, 2009

With the Advance in full swing, the physical fitness that is demanded from me is demanding and it is causing muscles that I have never before to become sore. It doesn’t feel has if I have torn anything in such a way that will prevent me to keep up with my peers, the thing I have to do is just keep stretching and doing the exercises that are expected in the correct form. I am still watching my diet (decreased by 500 calories and more greens) and I have added a little more weight to my lifting. Cardio and Core in the AM and then Lifting in the PM along with light track work.

Professional Training is Full Swing

August 17, 2009

To all who takes the time and ready my posts: "God Bless and I hope that your days go well and the workouts even better". Now down to business with this one that I am writing. The physical training that is taking place now with my Advance Course is definetly taking me out of my comfort zone. I thought I was in good shape over-all but I was sadly mistaken. It is called "dynamic training", no loinger is one starting stretching and exercises from a semi-warm point. You kick it into high gear with a combination of stretching and warming up at the same time. It is very challanging for me but I will not allow it to defeat me. I will take it on full steam and motivate others while at the same time motivating myself for I will not allow doubt to take hold of myself and kill everything I have work so hard for so long. I wanted to share these thoughts with the loyal readers of my blogs and I will update daily after each day and I will definetly update my pictures this weekend. I will focus more on each body part as well as the over-all pictures. This way all can see the progress that I am determined to achieve. To all God Bless and have a wonderful week, day or whatever…..Semper Fidelis!!!!

Damn good week

August 7, 2009

I finally did it!!! I hit the 240lbs in my over-all weight, I hope that it isn’t just water weight and that it doesn’t come back, but I believe that my cardio sessions are really paying off. I am looking forward to taking progress pics and posting them so I can get some good feed back from others that motivate me on a regular basis. Also, with my professional schooling coming up in a few days and last for 50 days I should be really be able to shredd the lean muscle and bring my weight down a little more. The abs are really coming into shape too. But the little extra skin is still fighting to go away. Any thoughts anyone???
