Well this season was better then expected. My goal was to be top 3 in all three shows I did and I accomplished that. I traveled three weekends in a row with one of my best friends (Larry Roberts). It was one hell of a fun journey. The topper of the three weekends was him winning the overall and gaining a Pro card at the the NGA Northeast. This was our last show of the year. This is also the show that I won my Pro Card at last year. It was a great moment for the both of us and I was proud to be a part of that moment. Overall I feel I looked better each weekend. I was very happy with the improvements I made and hope to make some more in the coming year. I would like to improve my detail in my legs and add some chest and back thickness. Off season has now started for me and I am more excited then I have ever been. I am up in the air about when I will compete next. I really like preparing during the boring winter months but would love to do the Yorton Cup next Fall. It will all depend on how my off season goes. I think that an extended off season would be more beneficial for me. Only time will tell. But for now, I am enjoying food and relaxing and reflecting on a great 2009 season..

Last saturday I was making plans to head to West Nyack to help one of my teammates at an OCB show. While looking for the directions to the host hotel on the entry form I saw that the show is being held in conjunction with the IFPA Pro Bowl. So I figured if I am going to make a trip I might as well compete as well. I called the Promoter on monday morning to make sure it wasn’t too late. When I spoke with him he had 8 Pros comfirmed already and said to send my application in. I ran to get a money order and straight to the post office I went.

I have been hammering two cardio sessions a day and going low carb since saturday. I wanted to make sure I would still be on track for April 11th and was a little nervous about carbing up heading into the weekend. So hopefully I show decent this weekend and don’t hinder my preperation for the USBF show I have had my sights set on. Should be an interesting 3 weeks. I have never competed 3 weekends in a row. We’ll have to see!

Well I am 18 days out from the USBF Plattsburgh Pro-Am. This will be my first pro contest and from the sounds of it I will be gracing the stage with some amazing pro’s. I am expecting atleast 10-12 pros in my class. I am super excited and nervous at the same time. The diet hasn’t been that bad, but I was hoping to lose a few more pounds after my last show and it hasn’t happened as of yet. This show is in my hometown so I am highly motivated to step on stage at my all time best. I guess only time will tell.. Short time I should add 18 DAYS!
