You look awesome, 1000% fem. Love your pic!

Long bouts of cardio are not the most effective way to get lean. I found this out the hard way. Like many women, I thought that doing two hours of cardio a day in split sessions was the way to getting ripped. It never worked for me, though. I was always a little soft regardless of what I ate.

Then I started trying high intensity training. I did intervals in everything I did: upright bike, running, stairs. This was the only thing that got me definition in my glute/ham tie-in.

Thank you all. Have to admit: havent really gotten really negative feedback yet!!! Of course, I still have have a lot more muscle to gain..... I know other females get comments and I just dont get it. People worry too much about the body. The way a face looks (particularly from being too lean), breast size, curves etc. It doesnt matter. Its the soul of a person that matters, but few people get this.

I also believe that the use of ergogenic drugs is widespread. So, when a person talks about it- its like nothing (maybe worthy of a shoulder shrug). I guess, to each their own, but its not for me. Too many physical negatives from it.

Don't let the naysayers get to you. In my opinion, muscle is WAY sexier than adipose tissue. And I suspect that the folks who are making disparaging comments about muscular women have issues with either their own sense of self-worth, or feelings of hostility toward women in general. Keep on doing what you're doing. You'll have the last laugh in the end.

I also don't understand why people say that a woman with muscles looks manly. There does seem to be a general cultural consensus on the so-called manliness of muscular women. But as women, we are still tiny and still have curves! We just have visible muscles! Keep lifting heavy, girl! You look great!

I love to see people healthy, and I'd agree that means having a muscular build. Men have more testosterone and women have more estrogen, along with the number of fat cells. Men should be a little leaner, and more muscular than women by nature. But women should have visible muscle and should not be rail thin with no muscles at all ie. fashion models. So keep working hard, and I'd never say muscle makes you a Man or Manly. Any way so what, the world is twisted, and natural things are often view wrong these days!

I never understood why most people who see women with muscle think it's something gross. I tend to find women with muscle sexy. :)
