Feeling really good today at my lightest weight once again in over 4 yrs. 277lbs as of this morning.

I’ve been upping the cardio substantially and it is starting to pay off. Last night I mixed my HIT with a 2 mils post HIT walk and it felt amazing and was a nice cool down. I think I might do more of this in the future. Today I got to hit Chest Back and Arms since I missed a few days in the gym with no weight room. I am excited to tear it up and it should be a pretty crazy workout. Might need an ice bath later…

I feel pretty amazing today wearing clothes I have never worn before that I bought as motivation to lose weght and looking damn good in them.

When I hit 278 on the scale yesterday after mowing my lawn for 3 hours in the morning I  wanted to let out a Johnny Drama "Victory" call.

Team Scivation is where it is at if anyone actually reads this and is trying to get shredded you are dumb if you don’t sign up and get free diets workouts and advice from the best in the business. Bottom line is this shit works.

Heres the Line:

Starting weight- 331 LBS

Current Weight- 278 LBS
Weight Loss-  53 LBS

LBS to my goal- 38 LBS

So I haven’t written on here in a while now that I am keeping my diet and workout log on the forums but I thought I’d put in an update.

Starting weight 331 lbs 3-1-09
Weight today 284 LBS 5-18-09

Weight loss  -47LBS!

44 more lbs to get to my goal of 240 lbs…

So I started the Team Scivation program today after getting my measurments done last night. I’m lacking a bit in motivation lately as the rest of my life is not going well at all but I am going to make the most of it and use it as motivation to make a positive change rather than a negative one.

I’m setting a goal for the next 12 weeks, trying to lose 50 lbs while following this program. I will be lifting later today and doing cardio as well.

 Everything might be a mess right now but I know better days are ahead and it’s time to fight back…

Just recieved my diet and workout plan for Team Scivation, very excited to get started. I really think this diet is going to get me absolutly shredded, I tried to follow it for a week or so last week and the results were amazing and I was no where near perfect. Come monday it is on, I am following the prograam to a T. I might even be able to get out of my t-shirt by the end of summer, we’ll see…

Leg Day on German Volume training, you gotta hate it, but you gotta love it.

Here’s how it looked today:

10X10 One leg, leg press Super Set with

10X10 Hamstring curls

3×10 Lunges Superset with

3X10 Stiff Leg Deadlifts

I am starting to see massive changes in my body compostition. I have noticed them coming but now others are starting to notice as well and their compliments motivate me everyday. I am fitting into clothes I had given up wearing and looking good in them not just squeezing in.

 I have gotten so much stronger in the last month it’s amazing. I feel like there is no limit to what I can accomplish right now and I know I will hit walls and rough patches but right now I just feel amazing.

 Switching my diet up to very low carb has been hard but I feel I am adjusting very well. I can tell eating 5 to 6 real meals a day and not just 3 with 2 protein shakes is making a huge difference and my metabolism is speeding up and buring more fat. Well time to go EAT, thank god!

So there has been some very good things happining in my life lately and I am starting to really get on track on my diet and in the weight room. I joined team Scivation which  should be a huge help in getting a very strict diet plan and workout plan to help me. Also the contest prep information will be great when I do get closer to that point.

 I had a great week training, hitting German volume training for every workout and I can feel it throughout my whole body. I will be tweaking my workouts a bit this week and changing up excercises, but I will be staying with the German volume training workout for 1 to 2 more weeks as I can already feel a huge diffence in my workout intesity.

My diet has been pretty good with the exception of a late night splurge and a cheat meal, but oh well, I had to get it in this week. I am starting to see huge changes in my bodys shape and the way my clothes are fitting even though my weight has hit somewhat of a sticking point at 298 lbs. I wouldn’t be surprised if I had gained a little bit of muscle after training so hard on a high protein diet after being inactive for a year or so. Either way I’m heading in the right direction and very excited about my progress!

update…

Haven’t been on here in two weeks but I have been hittin it hard in the gym lately and I’m still seeing good progress. I finnally got under 300 lbs a week and a half ago and celebrated a bit with 2 cheat meals, well worth it I might add.  SO that may have set me back a bit but I’m currently 298 and I feel like I am focused and poised to lose 5 to 6 lbs over the next week.

I have started German Volume Training which includes the following workouts:

 Monday-

Chest/Back

10 sets of 10 reps DB bench press, Super Sets with 10 Sets of 10 reps DB rows

3 sets of 10 incline flyes superset with 3 sets of 10 lat pull downs

Wednesday

Legs/Shoulders

10 sets of 10 reps DB step ups superset with 10 sets of 10 reps stiff leg deadlifts

3 sets of 10 Leg press superset with 3 sets of 10 lying leg curls

Calf raises (bodyweight) 3 sets

Shoulder complex training (tubing, side raises ect.)

Friday

Bis/tris

10 sets of 10 seated DB curls Super set with 10 sets of 10 Skull crushers

3 sets of 10 Precher curls superset with 3 sets of 10 rope tricep ext.

 I am also doing cardio on tues,thurs, and sat 30 mins or so. I will be incorperating shoulders on one of these days as well as on Leg day I am doing mostly just tubing and rotator cuff excercises.

My diet is steadily improving and getting back to the way it was last month. I have treid to put some good carbs back in to help me get through my workouts  as they have gotten much more intense lately.

 

So all in all…

Starting weight- 331

Weight today- 298

Total Weight Loss- 33 lbs

Still to go- 68 lbs

Approaching 300 major milestone

Well I’m down to 303lbs now, just weighed in actually. So I’m down a total of 28 LBS with 63 more to go to get to my goal of 240.

I’ve upped my cardio and started to eat more complex fiberous carbs instead of the stratchy cars like brown rice, potatoes, and beans. I have seen a huge change since I made this switch and i think i am extremly sensitive to starchy carbs. I think this discovery will help me really start to drop weight quickly.

My motivation is still very strong and I am dead set on acheiving my goals. This is the lowest my weight has been since September of 2007!

Down to 305 lbs today and I can feel that i’m going to make a run at the 300 lb milestone this week. I got held up a bit around 308 lbs as I had lost alot of weight rapdily. However my recent increase to 45 minutes of cardio has paid dividends and I can tell I am responding very well to the added time.

I’ve been focusing on cardio first and foremost and have negelected lifting a bit more than I should be the past few days. I think this is becasue my diet, while improving, is still not perfected and it is hard to get the energy to lift right now. I have started eating at least 3 healthy meals a day and supplemented with protien poweder twice a day.

 I will be adding more veggies and staying off the starchy carbs for the next week to see how my body reacts. I feel this is always an obstacle for me. I always get my good lean protien in but really need fiberous carbs to aid my fat loss.

Feeling good and fighting back!!! I made a commitment this week that I will be participating in the 2010 INBF Washington State Natural Bodybuilding contest. It’s a tall order but I will make it.

I started my own video journal today to help document my progress visually, should be very interesting when I am down a good amount of weight.

Down 26 LBS!!! and I’m gonna keep goin. 65 lbs more to go…
