Stealth_Swimmer?

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

I’m confused about this.  I checked out his profile to read about him, but from reading that and all the comments it seems like this guy has been at it for a while.  Positive comments, negative comments, top inspiration but not one person I’ve seen has him as one.  I’m just confused LOL!  Oh well, it’s whatever :)

To compete or not compete, that is the question…

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

So before I got my tasking letter for deployment I was training to compete in a show.  I bulked up from 185lbs to 210lbs and was making great strides.  But once I found out I was deploying I had to stop what I was doing and prepare all my "stuff" for the moment at hand.  I am now 200lbs even with the thought still going through my head on whether I want to compete.  I really just want to feel great about who I am inside and out and add some inches to my muscles.  i would love to have some kind of career in the fitness industry because it is something that I absolutely love to do and have a passion for.  LOL what I don’t have a passion for is bulking up and shredding down and putting my body through an influx that just puts me at both sides of the spectrum.  I wish I could just add muscle easier by doing it from a lean stand point year round but it seems that if I have any chance to compete and think about winning, I would have to bulk and then shred down like 90% of bodybuilders.  Oy, it’s a tough pill to swallow but I really have an itch to try it out.  Well, I guess I’m just thinking out loud (or on text) but anyways I just wanted to hear ya’lls opinion.  Maybe some others have felt the same way about "maybe" competing?

My Promise and My plea for help

Sunday, June 14th, 2009

Soooooo, I’m here in the good ol’ hot desert on the other side of the world, and what better way to pass the time then to WORKOUT!!!  I can honestly say that I found my passion for lifting again after a 3month funk.  I know I’m making progress but I’m so inpatient sometimes!  Oh well.  So here’s my promise.  I’ve never really done abs on a consistent basis, but while I’m here I promise to do them 5x a week or more!  I promise that I will try to add 5lbs of solid muscle by the end of my deployment!  I promise to focus more everyday and push myself far beyond my threshhold!……… But I can’t do it alone.  I need help….  I have searched and searched for a credible trainer.  I have never had one so I don’t know where to even start.  I would love to get in touch with someone who has respectable credentials.  Of course I would have to hire this person when I get back from deployment, but it would really help me out to know that I have someone working with me to better myself.  If anyone knows of a great trainer please let me know and as always, lift hard, smart, and BREAK BOUNDARIES!!!!
