I QUIT!!!

Monday, December 15th, 2008

Wuttup peeps. It’s been a while huh?

Well, lemme get straight to the point. 2008 was suppoesed to be a year of change and promise. It was supposed to be the year I committed to everything I did, whether it was physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and so on. It was supposed to be "MY" year. But It was wasted. From the time I made those promises to myself, I knew something would hold me back. Shit, I knew that I was just gonna be a lazy bum again, and that’s just what happened.

Well, I would like to announce that I have given up my dreams and hopes of ever developing the body I want. I’ finished. I have realized I just don’t have what it takes to build the physique of my dreams. I QUIT!!!

I am also leaving bodybuilding .com. I will no longer log on and I have decided to leave all bodybuilding aspects of my life  ALONE. No hard feelings people.

For everyone else trying to build that physique, good luck, and I hope all goes well with your goals.

Overtraining???

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

listen folks, i’m not trying to come up with exscuses to overtrain, but i’m gonna tell you what i have been discovering. there’s a guy that goes to the neighborhood park evevryday, and he always has one thing with him: dumbbells.

and you know what the thing is? he has huge freaking biceps. is this not overtraining? training your biceps everyday?

example two. i was watching the nelly interview yesterday. how is it that nelly got such a great body doing 1000 pushups everyday? shouldn’t his muscles be getting smaller? cuz they seem to be getting bigger to me. exhibit 3. i have a friend who along with weight training in football would do pushups everyday, and his chest is exeptonally structured. see my drift? in my honest opinion, there is no overtraining. now i’m not saying that you should go around training with weights for 5 hours twice a day. that’s up to you. you can do it if you want and see what happens. but i am saying you should try different things, no matter the extent, but naturally, without use of steroids and anabolic chemicals n shit. that i urge.

so, to sum it up, i am urging everyone to try your stuff. do what you feel, and whether it has a bad effect on your body or not will be decided through your results. whether you do or don’t make gains, you will always be learning something new. you won’t learn unless you make mistakes. and with that, always have an open mind, and take information. apply it and see if it works. if not, keep trying until you find what’s best for you.
