Here’s another one that makes me go “HMMM”

Why is it that "some" women concentrate only on their abs? I know , theres nothing wrong with women with a six pack. I think it looks great and am working on my own 6 ( hopefully oneday, 8) pack, hahaha.But what about the rest of the body? Working your abs only is a great set up for back injury. But, What really gets me is all these commercials we see for women , who have taken weight loss supplements, and have great abdominal tone but none any where else. Ok their legs are fine, but what about the upper body? Why dont so many women want to have strong sculpted arms too? What say you?

Im just sitting here looking at profiles and Ive noticed something. Too many men seem to work out their upper body WAY more than their lower body. Why? Did they "Forget" they had legs? Do they think that a giant upper body and tiny lower body looks good? Are they planning to compete? Looking like THAT? Do they REALLY want to look like "Carrot Top" from the neck down?  HMMMMMMM .

Last Week

Last week was a great training week for me. I took Friday and Sat. off to rest and try to store some fuel, Because Hypoglycemia is one Bad A** B*tch.  Ive been lucky this week, I ate alot of complex carbs, and didnt get any "reactive Hypoglycemia". YAY!!!! ( the wk before, not so much) Which tells me Im taking in the right fuel, but I just need more of it to start seeing some gains.

Yesterday

Yesterday was a great leg day, Today, Back, shoulders, and chest. Except for my back, all very weak areas for me. I think my back is so much stronger for one, larger stronger muscles, and 2 : I used to do some archery, ( compund bow, my draw weight, 55 lbs). But knowing my back is so much stronger, I am motivated to push a little harder on my shoulders and chest. Still have a long way to go tho. But I WILL get there!

Today wasnt a total loss, : ). Iwasn’t feeling well, but worked out anyway.

Skull Crushers: 1s 25# 6r/1s 30# 2r (so sad)

dips (modified) 2s 15r

over hd press: 1s 30# 8r

Push-ups (modified) 2s 20r/15r

Lat. pull-overs 1s 25#/6r  1s 30#/2r (again, so sad)

donkey calf raises 2s/ 15r (weight= Boyfriend lying across my back,lol)

Incline (chest ) press: 2s/10r 15

bench press: same as incline

crunches/rev. crunches 20r ea.

Today is a good day. I started SERIOUSLY charting my work- outs.

Bicep curls: 1 set 30# 6reps/1 set 40# 2 reps

Single arm bentover row: 1s 30# 6r/ 1 set 30#  6 r

DB squats: 1s 60# 6r/1s 60# 8r

SL deadlift  1s 60# 6r/1s 60#8r

crunches 2 sets 30

Rev.crunches 2sets 30
