This must be the new workout thing. I always thought it was limited to certain exercises, but as of last night I saw one more exercise that needs to be added to this mass building fat burning method. Usually I will see people talk on the cell phone while doing leg press, leg extensions, ab exercises, and even cardio. I always thought you could only workout and use your cell on lower body type movements, but oh how ignorant am I! I saw this lady talking on a cell phone while utilizing the curl bar. The cell was nestled in between her ear and her shoulder. She was doing standing curls while her right shoulder was raised to meet her ear and her left shoulder was considerably lower. I am not sure how she balanced the bar like that but I am sure it must have been awkward. It was a very funny sight to see needless to say.

I have been a real slacker with my posts, but that does not mean I have not been keeping up with the workouts.
) Since I have not been on a trip for the past couple of weeks, I have been able to be consistent with my workouts and more importantly my nutrition. I do think I need to eat more though.
I was going to do a crossfit workout last Saturday, but I was way too tired to even attempt one of those workouts. I am going to attempt one this weekend though.
I need to post an updated picture. Actually, I can probably re-post the current picture and it would probably be the same thing.

Alright, who here does that? Is this a new trend that I have not heard about? Was it in all the fitness and muscle magazines recently? Is this the way you are supposed to do leg presses?
I think it is so funny to see people load up the leg press with 4-5 plates on each side and proceed to do reps where they barely move the sled and think they are doing something. I have seen young kids to old men, and some women do this and think they are really doing something. Or are they doing it correctly and I am the one fool going through the full range of motion?

I did not get much done last week, well as far as cardio. After coming back from my trip, I was kind of tired the remaider of the week. I was real lazy for some reason but I did manage to workout most bodyparts. I had to cram my workouts into two days it seems.
- Tuesday: cardio
- Wed: bummed it
- Thursday: Chest/Shoulder/Tri (no cardio)
- Friday:Legs (no cardio)
I was supposed to do back on Friday as well, but I was not able to. Saturday would have been good to do back, but after going to the TX State Naturals, Biker event, and hanging out with a friend I was too tired to workout.
This week is starting off better since I was able to do some cario the morning.

With about 10 weeks to Olympia, I am so excited to go back. I have been to two already and love the vibe there. I really need to get in shape so I can look somewhat decent when I am taking pictures with some of the fitness and bodybuilding people. Oh yeah, gotta love the free suplements!

It seems like I have not worked out consistently in the past few weeks. Probably because I have not because of all the travelling I have been doing for the past month. I have mangaged to work out here and there, but nothing like what I am used you. I feel so out of shape. Oh, and of course the diet has not been up to par. I think I have been consuming less calories and very unhealthy ones at that. Well, tomorrow I should, I mean I will be getting back on track.

So I did not workout at all yesterday with the exception of a cardio session in the AM. Today I did a double workout. I did shoulders in the AM and Back in the PM. I was so tired after tonight’s workout that I did not do cardio afterwards. I did manage to move some decent weight though.
Tomorrow is a leg day and arms on Saturday. I used to do arms after back(bi’s) and chest (tri’s) but I think I need to work them on their own so they can get some size.

I was suppposed to workout on Monday, but I was occupied with other stuff that took longer than I wanted it to. Oops!
I did manage to get to the gym yesterday for what I like to call "lazy leg day" because I went to the gym late and did not have a lot of energy to move massive amounts of weight. I did work up a sweat though. I was more focused on the "squeeze" since I knew that I was not planning on doing a lot of exercises and weights. I suppose it was decent, I am kind of sore this morning.
I also need to find a way to start doing crossfit exercises. I do want to start incorporate more functionality exercises in my workouts.

I am thinking about doing this show. Funny, while I enjoy going to these shows ( I am planning on going to the Branch Warren and TX State next month) the thought of actually going on stage is kind of a werid thought for me. First, I am not going to step on stage unless I am in outstanding shape for the show ( I would see where I was a few weeks out from the entry dealine date). Next, actually posing in front of a bunch of people is not really my thing since I am not much of an attention seeker, sometimes perhaps. lol Anyway, having a ripped body is not a bad thing so I am going train like I am going to do the show in October. Time to step up the workouts and get more serious about what I am eating.
