S I have written on here that I love coffee, espresso,etc! Well, my drink of choice at starsbucks is an iced venti latte, made with non-fat milk and 4 raw sugars. I knew how many calories it was-240. That was from the milk and just a little sugar from what i added. I got to reading about checking the sugar in your milk. Well HOLY****!! I may as well have been drinking a frickin’ pop. The nonfat milk had 9 grams of protein in 8oz but 11 grams of sugar in 8oz…OUCH!! They put about 16-20 oz of milk in it. So, no more of those now. I’ve figures something else out instead. I am not giving up coffee.
It just amazes me as to where sugars can be found in what I thought was something healthy! I mean milk and espresso is a great pre-workout combo for me, but not anymore.
Anyone else ever found out something you thought wasnt bad ended being full of sugar! Sneaky I think!! Oh well, I ‘m better off and my wallet will get thicker instead of my waist now. ha ha
