S I have written on here that I love coffee, espresso,etc! Well, my drink of choice at starsbucks is an iced venti latte, made with non-fat milk and 4 raw sugars. I knew how many calories it was-240. That was from the milk and just a little sugar from what i added. I got to reading about checking the sugar in your milk. Well HOLY****!! I may as well have been drinking a frickin’ pop. The nonfat milk had 9 grams of protein in 8oz but 11 grams of sugar in 8oz…OUCH!! They put about 16-20 oz of milk in it. So, no more of those now. I’ve figures something else out instead. I am not giving up coffee.
It just amazes me as to where sugars can be found in what I thought was something healthy! I mean milk and espresso is a great pre-workout combo for me, but not anymore.
Anyone else ever found out something you thought wasnt bad ended being full of sugar! Sneaky I think!! Oh well, I ‘m better off and my wallet will get thicker instead of my waist now. ha ha

I’ll be taking my final body transformation pics for the turbulence training online contest here this weekend. I feel good about how far I’ve come but it’s only just begun. I was out with my mom today shopping today. I stopped into the Debrand’s Chocolatier and wanted to see how many calories are in this dark chocolate almond truffle i like…190!! Good lord. I said no thanks. It’s not gonna help me get where I want to be. That’s I told myself and I denied the chocolate cookie offered to me at Brighton as well. I’m trying to stay strong over here. How about you all??? Theresa

The glutes and hamstrings are sore today!! I ordered a new body fat monitor. I got the omron hand held one. I’ll be glad to get my hands on it and compare it to the scale I have already!

I started a new routine today and will be doing this for 4 weeks. The interval cardio after the workout is intense, especially after doing legs. I must say that bulgarian split squats are TOUGH!! I’ll post the new routine here soon. Maybe some you all would like to try it out. Theresa

Okay, I’ve been working hard with the turbulence training workouts( supersets) and doing the interval cardio. The diet is pretty tight! I lost that 5 lbs and now I’m at a stnadstill. My muscles are getting harder and starting to show but the scale isn’t moving. So, I guess I’ve a plateau or something. I’m going to do some tape measuring this weekend. My clothes that were tight are all lose. I guess I’m worried that since the scale isn’t going down that I’m not progressing. Does that makes sense?? Thanks all, Theresa
