I am not new to the gym, but I am starting over. . I am a little embarrassed about how my body is looking right now. I try to eat as healthy as possible.

Focus on your technique and your purpose. You are not there to impress. You are there to achieve. People can have all the opinions they want. What matters is what you think. I can see beauty in your pics. The question is do you see it?? Push girlie.

I know that it is all about what I think of myself and not what other people think. My friend bears says the same thing you two are saying. Keep focusing on technique and to set goals that will keep me going. I am going tonight I will just be doing cardio and abs for this week.

Don’t worry about everybody else in there. They wouldn’t be in there if they didn’t want to improve so they won’t be in any position to give you any funny looks. Just do like everyone else is saying, focus on you and you will be successful

I agree with you. Yes we are all there to improve our bodies. But there are those few who do talk about the people who are not in shape or on the same level as them.

I went to the gym today after work like I promised myself. I AM VERY, VERY HAPPY I WENT. I feel so much better. I did like I have always been taught. I concentrated on my form and my breathing. Thank you all for the encouragement. You know who you are; the fussing did help me get over my anxiety that I was dealing this today. God bless you all.
