Transformation two years in the making … time to start a new chapter

I just posted progress pics this morning that pretty much sum up the last two years of effort in taking off 70+ lbs of ugly - a journey I began in March of 2007. The health benefits of getting the weight off are more than I dreamed. I still occasionally do a double take when I walk by a mirror. Chronic back pain has left, obnoxious snoring at night has ceased, I went through three different wardrobes [I started out in XXL Shirts and size 44 pants - now in Medium shirt and 34 pants!] and I have had countless encounters with clients and friends that didn’t even recognize me not to mention the repeated comments about looking 15 years younger, etc. It has been quite a ride and I wanted to thank all you for encouraging me and hitting me up with tips and ideas about making the journey easier. You have my heartfelt thanks!

The new chapter: Stay on this path - there is no going back. I plan to continue to strive to reach what ever the genes will deliver: add more muscle, get more ripped and enter a show as a bodybuilder - before the big "50" rolls around. It is official, I’m a late bloomer, but I think I have studied my body enough over the last two years to pull it off.

We’ll see what the next two years brings. COOL!

Awesome buddy! Anyone can do it - but so few do. You really have changed your life and I see you plan to take it to the next level. Good job man!

Well isn’t that interesting? I never looked at your age. I assumed that you were in your 30’s. I certainly didn’t think that you were closer to 50 than you are to 40! Do I have to call you "sir" now?
