The Diet … What do you think - Am I missing anything?

The diet has been adjusted and it is pretty interesting to see more weight coming off … even I can tell just looking at my own face in the mirror. I have taken KGB like control over portion size and what I am stuffing my face with and it is making a major difference. While the first couple of weeks were a bit tough, I am in the third week and my body now appears to have gotten used to it. Energy levels are good. Six meals a day - 25-35 grams of protein per meal. I am drinking about a gallon and a half of water a day too. Here is what I am consuming.:
Meal 1 @ 4:00 AM: Half cup of non fat yogurt, stirring in a scoop of Higher Power protein powder and 10 grams of Glutimine. Coffee … AnimalPak and Tribuloid. As I am walking out the door to get to the Gym at 5:15, Animal Pump.
At about 7:00 AM - between the weight workout and the cardio - Animal Nitro and a lot of water.

After getting through cardio, cleaning up and getting out of the gym - my protein powder "Ice Cream" - cup and a half of non fat yogurt, scoop of protein that has a half a cup of frozen berries tossed in. There is more Glutimine in that mix as well.

10:30 Meal 3: Cup of brown rice, half a can of Kirkland canned chicken [Costco’s stuff] with a couple table spoons of low fat dressing.

1:30 Meal 4: Can of Kirkland tuna over a diced up half peach, apple or other fruit, splash of non-fat salad dressing.

4:00 Meal 5: Chicken breast or perhaps 4-5 ozs of beef over very small salad - splash of non-fat dressing. Animal Flex.
7:00  Meal 6: Half cup of non fat cottage cheese with a scoop of protein powder and glutimine mixed in –  splash of milk to make sure it all mixes well.
Half hour before bed, Higher Power GABA.

So let me know if this seems reasonable or if there is anything further I need to tweak, eh?

Thanks for your input!

The only thing i could suggest would be-
Avoid tinned chicken or most tinned things for that matter.
They have already been cooked once and usually contain a certain amount of additives and preservatives (and sugar)
I usually cook a pack of chicken breasts every few days, shred and keep in sealed packs for cooking/snacking.
Try Having your protein shakes straight after your workout . Also have a protein shake before bed mixed with skimmed milk.

    Hope this helps!

I just might add that canned meats can contain large amounts of high blood pressure inducing and water retaining sodium!

My thought is that most of the carbs in the yogurt in your first meal might get burned up too quick. I like to use a packet of quick oats before my workout. The few sugars burn off during the workout and the oats last a little longer.

I like the diet plan, I also would agree that the yougurt is going to burn up to quickly in the morning. Try 1 cup of regular old nasty oats from quaker microwave for 5 minutes on 50 percent power. I also put in a Tsp of flax oil, and a 1/4 Tsp of pure honey for a little taste.

What also has helped for me is to stay away from all dairy. I have had to BB competitors tell me this and my trainer is one. Says this" milk comes from cows and is produced to make calves get bigger so inturn it is going to make you bigger. Stay away from anything smooth it will make you smooth too. reffering to cheese" I thought it was kinda of funny because I use to do the cottage cheese at night too, but sense I cut out the dairy I have seen faster results. Also you may want to try incororparting fresh fish in the diet I get the farm rasied salmon from costco taste very fresh and cook it on the BBQ. Put the Kirkland Mesquite rub on it EXCELLENT.

Anyway good luck it all looks pretty good.

P.S. thank god for costco and there 6.5 LB bag of chicken!!!!

    Hey Brother!

You’ve got a lot to be proud of! I admire your discipline. Keep losing and training, and you can maybe do the marathon with me here in PA?
