Strept, Bronchitis & No gym for 2 months

A week or so after my last post I discovered that I had bronchitis. Since I have asthma it makes it very difficult to workout especially when it comes to strenuous training n cardio. I have not worked out for about 2 months or so…and my diet has been horrible. Due to this I have gained quite a bit of weight I did not want too. Now that I am feeling ALMOST 100% (have quite a bad cough which trigures asthma) I am ready to resume training n dieting. I have not set a specific goal yet..but I will in a couple of weeks. I just want to get back to what I was n figure I should go from there. Wish me luck now that I am getting better! :D

Strep Throat . . . As if!

Alright so in my last blog I wrote about how I was getting back into the swing of things…well I started having a sore throat about 4-5 days ago. I noticed on Monday that my glands were severely swollen so I went to the doctor today yesterday n it turns out I have strep throat. GREAT! Just what I need once I get all set n ready to train again. I am hoping I will be better soon..If it was just a simple sore throat I could manage but it comes with a fever, chills and nausea. I also have asthma so breathing itself is a chore right now. Good news is I am craving the gym again, can not wait to get back. BUT for now..all I can do is rest and wait it out.

Rough Couple of Months

Well I am back after dealing with a rough couple of months that sent my fitness goals down hill. Not using it as an excuse but I definately was not concentrating on my diet or the gym due to the situation I was in (more like situationS).

I was hoping to do a local competition on November 1st but unfortunately quit my job recently so no income = no contest. . . at least right now. My main goal I have for myself is to compete…However, right now I am concentrating on getting back on track and losing the extra weight I put on. I start school on September 2 so hopefully that will keep me on track with everything.
