We were the first to bring you the results and photos from the Jan Tana and King Kamali Classic. Now that the photos are posted, we’re working on bringing you some interesting videos from this weekend’s event.

The prejudging is complete and there is a short break before tonight’s finals. The NPC portion flew by and we actually had enough time to eat. I had to grab a slice, New York pizza is the best you’ll find. The pro portion could had started at 11, but it was scheduled for 2pm. Tonight will fly by. Props to my man Will for getting the pics up so quickly. We’re rockin the coverage again for everyone.

It looks like your top 5 in figure, no particular order will be:

Felicia Romero
Kristal Richardson
Jeanette Freed

I’d have Jeanette, Jane and Amy as your top 3 Olympia qualifiers. It’s the best Jeanette has looked as a pro and a rookie for that matter. Geee Richard - still doubting me on my predictions? I was only off on one prediction and that was cover girl, Jelena Abbou. This was her first pro show and needs to tighten up for her next show. She’s beautiful but if she wants to contend in the top ranks will have to tighten up, especially her lower half. She’ll be in the 12-14 spot is my guess. Christine Wan and Lianne Seiwald both improved from the Colorado. This was the best I’ve seen Lianne, her hair, make up, suits, everything was dead on and she’ll be in the top 10.

Richard aka “The Cheese” has called me out and well let’s see who fairs better at this weekend’s Jan Tana Pro show. The top two female bodybuilders and top three figure winners will find themselves qualified for the big dance in Vegas come September. The Olympia is the big daddy (or momma which ever you prefer) of the industry. One which fans will be able to see live via the bodybuilding.com webcast. Aight, enough Olympia pimping, let’s get down to business.

Female Bodybuilding:
1. Dena Westerfield
2. Vicki Nixon
3. Sara Dunlap

The Cheese is right, I will be rooting for one of the hottest women in the pro ranks, Jelena Abbou. She’s already accomplished more than what 99% of the women will do in this industry. I’ve spoken with her and seen preview shots from this week of her and she looks great. She’s a little nervous, but who wouldn’t be in their pro debut. She has some amazing shoulder and if she get get her posing down she will be in the top 5.

Cheri Lewis has come into her own this year and consistently rising to the top 5, Richard (check results of the California pro my friend - Ms. Lewis was fifth in her last outing). Jeanette Freed won’t have to travel far as she’s a New Yorker stepping on stage for the first time this year. We haven’t seen her on stage since the middle of last year but look for her to hold her own in her own backyard.

This has shaped up to be a great figure line-up. Who will get the Olympia qualifications? How will prejudging go on Saturday afternoon? The bigger question, who has better predictions - myself or The Cheese?

This Saturday, the Jan Tana returns with a great collection of women hoping to get one step closer to the Olympia stage. While I wish there was a fitness competition for this event, the female bodybuilders and figure competitors that are competing this year more than make up for the absence of fitness.

As far as who can take this…

In the figure side, I see either Jane Awad, Ines Jimenez, Felicia Romero, Christine Wan, or Zhanna Rotar making the top five, with either of these five getting a rightful Olympia spot.

I’m not gonna lie, I feel partial to Jane Awad out of all the figure girls competing. She last competed at the Arnold Classic in March and placed a disappointing and confusing eleventh place. I have a feeling she can-and will-bounce back from this little setback and earn her a spot at the grandest stage for muscle.

Ines Jimenez could also be heading to the O stage as well. She brought a very impressive physique to a very loaded Colorado Pro stage, and she placed sixth, only a few points from the top five. If she brings a similar package Saturday, she’s gonna be hard to beat.

Felicia Romero has brought a great physique that got her fifth place at the Colorado Pro and a third place finish and Olympia spot at the California Pro. Expect her hot streak to continue Saturday.

Zhanna Rotar… top ten in California and Colorado. If she doesn’t get a Olympia qualifying spot, she could round out the top five easily. I don’t see her below tenth place.

Christine Wan DESERVES a top-five spot…period! If she brings a package similar to the one she brought at the Arnold Classic, she could do just that.

Those are my top picks for figure. Now on to bodybuilding:

I have to be honest, I’m not too familiar with the competitors in this contest. I do think there are too few here, but I’ll live. As far as who will get the top spots, it could come down to Vicki Nixon, Dena Westerfield, and Jana Linke-Sippl.

There ya have it. My thoughts on Saturday’s big contest. With the Olympia practically a couple of months away, everyone’s gonna bring their A-game and prove that they want to go to Vegas in September and give Jenny Lynn and Iris Kyle a run for their money.

The 2007 IFBB Jan Tana Pro Women’s Bodybuilding and Figure Championships are this weekend, and the competition looks fierce.

Here are my Top 6 predictions for the figure round:

4) Zhanna Rotar
5) Kristal Richardson
6) Kristi Tauti

I know Isaac’s gonna be rooting for magazine covergirl Jelena Abbou, but since this is her first pro show, I’m guessing she’ll need a little time to get adjusted.  He’s also already expressed an interest in Cheri Lewis and Jeanette Freed, but their contest histories don’t support top placings here, in my opinion.
