This year marked the 15-year anniversary of the Nutri-Sport Bodybuilding, Figure & Xtreme Fit Championships. The event was significant from not just that but from the quality of competitors from 15 different states competing for an IFPA pro card, an amazing guest poser and other factors that wowed the spectators at the Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines, Iowa on May 9th.
Getting things started was HarMENy, a trio who did an amazing performance of our country’s anthem! The crowd then was treated by IFPA pro Joe Wilson who lit up the audience with his guest posing, complete with splits and all! Finally, the walk through of almost 90 competitors had the energy high and the audience wanting more!

A special thanks to our major sponsors, Nutri-Sport and Fitness World for all their support. This year was special in a lot of ways. Not only was it the fifteenth year, but with a record turnout, a touching performance after intermission by ten and under bodybuilders, great physiques, an audience full of energy, a great post party and many other factors made this more than just a competition, but it really felt like a party and everyone was having a blast!!! It is exciting to see what next year brings as it gets better each year!
