Worst show I have ever been to. First off it was one of the worst judged shows I have ever been to, especially the figure competition. It was obvious that the judges didn’t have the experience to give a pro card out even judge the novice individual grouping. For two straight girls’s T-walks not one judge looked up to judge and one was texting under the table!!! The judges seemed like a bunch of one time bodybuilders and undergrads at UNI (wait… they were). There were ridiculous placeings in the novice (one girl was awarded last and could have been as high as runner-up but no lower than 4th, she was also the best poser and had the best stage presentation then even the two or three pros from other organizations that were there had, I will touch on posing in a little bit. Masters was clear cut and they still managed to mess it up. The third place finisher clearly should have won (but the first place was fun to watch and seemed like a very sweet person and looked good and should be proud no matter that I didn’t have her in first). Open was a mess too. One girl won I think because the judges heard how many titles she won. It was a clear flip flop between first and second. I left after that because I was so disappointed in the judging to even watch much of the bodybuilding. Oh…and about the posing. There were only four girls in the whole 25+ girls group who knew how to hit a front pose, side pose, or a back pose. The best of the group was put last in a novice group. There were also no comparisions by the judges between the girls. I think they just pointed one, two, etc and lets move on. I had 8 good OCB contests but this was bad enough there won’t be a tenth. And no, I didn’t compete in this contest I was a spec.
