Wow, I stay away from this place for a while and cheating on my diet becomes second nature. The motivation of this site and accountability (no matter how small or if its to no one in particular) really does make a difference. And of course I have to mess up on my own to truely belive anything. So now I am back with a new resolve to say no to donuts and cookies!!!! And I won’t stay away this time.

This is primarily for me; to see my change in attitude and progress towards a goal. So now I am in the early stages…comtemplation. Thinking I want to compete in fitness. More than likely in 2008 so I have time to gain strength and flexibility and lose bodyfat. Really in the contemplating stage right now as I just found out it will probably be another 2-3 weeks before I can begin working out again since my surgery. It’s been almost 2 weeks and I am already antzy. I have started walking on the treadmill each morning at a snail’s pace and diet plans seem much easier to follow when I am working out and feeling a purpose-not being a lump on the couch or computer.

OK, I LOVE to work out and see the results but have big issues with diet…not regular meals, but all the snacks: chocolate, cookies, and chips that seem to appear 3-4 times a week at work. I need something good to tell myself BEFORE I partake instead of chastizing myself afterwards.
