MMA: Gettin Back in Shape
Monday, November 24th, 2008I tore the pcl ligament in my knee in September ‘08 while training for my first MMA fight. Now, i feel that i am healthy enough to begin training again. Problem is im really out of shape from sitting on my ass and nursing my knee. It will be hard but i feel i can be ready by middle-late January. I am going to fight at 155 lbs which will cost me the loss of hard earned muscle, but i feel that it is worth it. I want to get my base weight to around 165-170 lbs. This means lots of circuit training and tons of abs on top of my MMA training haha. All the hard work will pay off though when i get my hand raised in the middle of the octagon
