The body responds so quickly
I have been lifting pretty steady over the past 6 months, but my diet has been absolute crap. Eating out all the time, drinking a lot of beer on the weekends, and best of all… little to no cardio. While I feel I have added some muscle, I have definitely added a lot of fat. My legs, ass, and waist have all grown and clothes feel tighter. Coming into this week I knew it was time to buckle down and get a hold of myself before things get too bad. Taking my measurements earlier this week, I was pretty horrified. Things were worse than imagined. It’s funny how you can rationalize… well, I’m in a bulking phase hahaha.
However, through some super STRICT dieting and 2 a day workouts, I am going to make some amazing adjustments in the next 30 days. I’m in my 4th day of ketosis and have logged about 8 miles running already this week. I just did a tape of my waste and low and behold, I’ve lost an inch already! 30 days of ketosis, with about 15 miles of cardio a week, and a mix of calisthenics (P90X and weights at night) I should be doing alright again.

Good to hear your making the change in diet. Remember abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym. Keep it up bro! You’ll get addicted to those loss inches and you’ll get it no time.
