It’s hard to believe
For the past two days, I’ve posted what I thought would be fairly controversial posts - 10 mistakes most people make in the gym, and popular exercises you should avoid. Incredibly, I’ve not received a single comment on either post. Now, this means that I was either right on the mark and everyone nodded in sage agreement and then passed the posts on to their friends and relatives, OR, people read the posts and thought they were too stupid to respond to. A third possibility may be that no one AT ALL read either post. If option number one is true, then I’m okay with that because at least my message is getting out, even if I’m not aware of it. If two or three is the case, sheesh, what a revolting development.
Still, I write this blog mainly for myself, so I should bitch, moan and complain. In the immortal words of whomever, "It is what it is, man. Just go with the flow."

That is funny. I feel the same way a lot of times. I haven’t really wrote anything people would agree or disagree with but I do wonder if people ever read my blogs. I am also in the same boat on the blog being for me so either way it doens’t really matter. I do get some comments from time to time which is a cool surprise but if I don’t hear from anyone no big deal.
Anyway from your post there are some I agree with and some that I don’t. I don’t remember all of them but here are a couple I don’t agree with.
1. Leg extension….maybe you can be hurt but if you use good form and concentrate on the muscle I think it is one of the best ways to get a good pump in the legs.
2. Leg Press…I don’t think it is as good as the squat but it does allow you to go heavier and if form is still good I think I get benifits from it.
3. Behind the neck pull downs….this is another one where focus and form are key. I don’t think it should be an every week exercise but it does hit the back differently and is a good change every once in awhile.
I think the key to most of these exercises is form and muscle concentration. Hell even the bench or a simple curl can get you hurt if you use poor form and are just trying to impress someone with weight. Good luck with the blog.

BodySpace - or any online journal system for that matter - is a huge roadmap with many exits, pull-offs, and destinations. I love to visit various profiles and blogs, but often lose my way so far as returning to those individuals. It’s easy to overlook or be unaware of the wonderful messages that are available but go unseen.
I saw your response to my one blog recently and then visited your blog in return. If I hadn’t then I wouldn’t have been aware of the super cool blog you posted listing some of your inspirational BodySpacers.
My strategy is to visit the BodySpace main page and then comment on those blogs that pique my interest or strike me for some reason. And in so doing I also leave behind a link to my profile via my avatar and the reply I made.
I’m not sure "You’ve got to give to get" applies, but certainly people won’t beat a path to your doorstep unless they know the doorstep is there in the first place.
Glad you’re here, Angelo! Enjoy your weekend!
