I’m so excited! When I went to Venice Beach for the Muscle Beach Classic on Memorial Day weekend, I had the opportunity to shoot with Ian Sitren, Second Focus (http://bodyspace.bodybuilding.com/SecondFocus/)! As a result of that shoot, I am featured in the Ironman Magazine this month! The article was very well written and the images are wonderful!
Only correction I have is that I’m in Michigan, not Minnesota, but that’s my hometown, so it’s almost right! Please take a minute to check out the October Issue of Ironman Magazine, and thank you, Bodyspace, for the portfolio exposure, and Ian, for submitting me as the Bodyspace Physique of the month!
Hugs,
Peggy Vee

I am SO ready, and so excited to be competing in this organization! I leave Friday and take the train (and my Detroit Red Wings themed outfit…..) from Windsor to Toronto!
If you’re interested, you can watch the whole competition on webTV. Check that out at www.fameworldtour.com — better yet, if you’re in the Toronto area, please come and cheer me on and say hello!
I’ll be competing Friday night in the Muscle Model competition, Saturday afternoon in the Masters Figure competition, and Sunday in the Amateur Figure competition, so you’ll get more than your normal share of “Peggy Vee” on stage in Toronto!
Special thanks to www.bodybuilding.com for providing such a wonderful site, and bringing together so many like-minded people! You have all been so helpful, encouraging and supportive, and I’ve purchased many of my contest prep supplies right through this site! Talk about your one stop shop!!
Wish me luck!
Hugs,
Peggy Vee

Ok, I feel flat. I know this is normal, but man, sometimes it’s hard to keep pushing when you get to this stage!
I went to the gym this morning and when I work out, I feel like I look amazing. But then as soon as I walk out of the gym, I feel like I’m just another girl who works out. I know I need to be exceptional to be noticed in such a competitive industry!
My weight is right where it needs to be. But I’m at that tired and hungry stage. I’m afraid if I start eating I’m not going to stop! Can anyone else relate to that? Just plain no time to screw up now!
AND, I’m a bit concerned about doing 3 shows within a month of each other. I mean, I DO have to make a living too, while I’m doing this!
Can you tell I need some encouraging words??? lol
Thanks for letting me rant!
Onward and Upward!!

I’m right on track, should have my posing suit this week! I’m getting so excited. This is my first time on stage in 10 years, so it’s pretty much a practice run for the shows in June, but I’m still planning to go through with the whole carb depletion/dehydration cycle..just to see how my body responds to it.
I feel a bit flat, but I remember this stage from before, so I don’t think it’s too unusual. It’s been difficult to stay focused while planning all the travel for the next three events, but I usually do best when I’m kept busy, so that helps.
Anyone who happens to be in the Venice Beach area and wants to come cheer me on, I’d LOVE that!
Hugs
Peg

Okay, I’m headed to Florida to soak up some sunshine and get some progress pics taken on the beach in Tampa! Keep your eyes peeled for some new shots that I will post as soon as I get back!
I’m really excited. My weight is right where it needs to be, and people are starting to comment and ask ‘what’s up?’
It’s always so fun when you start seeing the changes happen and get some positive feedback on all the hard work!
