time for a needed break

switched my cardio and started doing full body workouts. my back was feeling better. well today, while doing abs, i felt slight discomfort on my right lower back. I stopped the workout, did 30 mins on bike and came home. I feel the pain is there, very light, but its there. Im taking a few days off entirely, no workout, no cardio, let my body recoup.

getting a little discouraged

Looks like I’m stuck at 187. I’m scared to drop calories anymore, as I’m at 1700, not sure how much more I can drop before I start loosing muscle. I’m changing cardio routine and switching to full body workouts for a few weeks to see if that makes any difference.

This last weeks workout was so so. have been feeling very tired and sore, so took it easier than usual. Skipped leg day and cut cardio to 30 mins daily. I hurt my back on Sunday tossing the kids in the pool, haven’t been able to workout with weights.

Did 30 mins cardio yesterday in the AM and an hour this morning. I should be able to lift weights tonight.

Doing a full hour every morning and 30 minutes after working in the afternoon. My diet has been dead on the last two days. Weighed myself today, 186. I haven’t lost much if anything in the last week or so. Will keep calories the same and up cardio. If weigh loss stops, ill try going down another 250 calories per day.

back on track

After a long weekend of relaxation and eating what I wanted, we’re back on! 1 Hour cardio this morning. Doing Back and Bi’s this afternoon with another 30 mins of cardio.

Going to start cutting off carbs after 3PM except for PWO. Just veggies (I know, they’re carbs!) and protein for dinner.

nice long weekend off

No gym or cardio sat and sun. eat whatever i wanted, within reason. FeelingĀ  a little bloated and dehydrated today. Need to up water to flush out all the crap I ate. I needed a few days off diet and gym.

Doc appt went well on Friday morning. CT Scan came back perfect. T levels were low, but expected since I took a shot 2 weeks before the blood test. This week took one half way through to see where levels are at halfway point.

Overall feel good, maybe a little moody at times, I blame it on low carbs.

Start of a new week! Let’s do this!!

No cardio this morning

July 9, 2009

Had an early meeting in the office today, so no morning cardio. I’m feeling very run down, not sure if I need to take a day to rest or maybe increase carbs some. Had sushi for dinner last night, well sashimi, which is all protein and half cup of brown rice. Have doc appointment tomorrow about my HRT.

Egg white and cheese ww wrap for breakfast. Have a chicken wrap for lunch and beef jerky for snack.

PM Cardio

July 7, 2009

30 mins of stairmaster again this afternoon. I made the mistake of weighing myself after the showers, scales said 190, I was 184 just a week ago in the AM on empty stomach. So it’s either a full stomach or I gained weight somehow, which I don’t understand how its possible with the low calories I’ve been on. No more eating after 9pm.

Back and Bi’s tomorrow. Hitting the sack early tonight to get a good night sleep. AM cardio
