Power up!!

I HATE the heat!!! 118 degrees today. This week is going well so far. I survived legs with my trainer Monday still sore. Arms are up tomorrow. I’m ready to kick in to high gear. No cheat days September til Olympia weekend!!! Can’t wait to see the figure competition!!!

I was in a real funk today. PMS? Decided to take a day off training. Caught up on some sleep. I’m excited about the upcoming Mr. Olympia, we got our tickets. I’m pulling for Ronnie to win it back. (Arnorld did it, he can too).

Day by Day

Tuesday, August 14th, 2007

Today took effort. Really tired after legs yesterday, so didn’t do cardio until the afternoon. No weight vest, just sauna shorts-30 minutes on the elliptical. Sticking to the diet though; I know that’s 90% of it. Tomorrow’s plan is am cardio with wt. vest sauna shorts. Chest and abs day too. I’m excited about Thursday. Going to workout arms with my trainer! Yeah!!

No cheers for big rears: The battle of the butt part 1

I need to get rid of the junk in my trunk!!! I did 30 min of cardio this am on an empty stomach wearing a 10 pound wt vest and sauna shorts: 10 min on the stepmill 20 min on the treadmill at an incline between 8-12%. Tonight is my leg workout with my trainer, he always kicks my butt! Maybe I should just do legs and butt everyday for a month until they catch up with the top half of me fat wise. There has been some moderate improvement in my quads, but my glutes and hamstrings won’t budge and I work those out the most. GRRRR!!!!!

AM Cardio: Fat blaster

Gotta do it! 5:50 am out the door 30 min cardio before work. Did back workout with my trainer. Not too bad. Saturday is my cheat day on my diet-going to a wedding. Overall, I’ve been a good girl this week. Although very gassy. I think it’s the creatine?
Also been taking Hyperdrol (proanabolic) supposed to boost testosterone, decrease estrogen-hoping that along with diet, cardio and lifting will get rid of the junk in my trunk. Off to bed, getting up early to do CARDIO!!!!

One small victory at a time

Today, I stuck with the program: 30 min of cardio on empty stomach. Legs and abs in pm.
Meal 1: oatmeal/flax seed meal/Egg white pancake
Meal 2: 4 oz talapia,1/3 c brown rice, spinach
Meal 3: 3 oz tuna, 1/2 yam, green beans
Meal 4: Protein shake
Meal 5: Whey shot after legs

Tomorrow-cardio in am,shoulders in pm. Need to lose 12 lbs to be ready for Dec.

Tomorrow is a new day

I’ve been training and "dieting" almost a year now. My original plan was to compete next month in the Tournament of Champions(figure). After an honest discussion with my trainer he thinks if I want to place I should shoot for Excaliber in Dec. My first experience competing was at the OC Muscle Classic. I had fun even though I didn’t place. I’m hoping to meet other women who are also interested in training to keep each other on track. My husband is supportive but his goals are different. So if there are any woman in the Inland Empire area interested in working out together, exchanging tuna recipies…let me know!
