Finally gettin somewhere… again!

September 10, 2007

Been about a month since I started my new workout plan and nutrition/supplement cycle. I’m seeing great gains and I almost forgot how strong I used to be. I’ve put on about 11 lbs. I stay really strict during the week with my nutrition; I do alright on the weekends as long as I don’t have people come visit that wanna go get fat. I was sick all this last weekend, prolly just because of the beating I’ve been puttin my body through lately. Feelin a lot better today, and had a great workout. I’ve got some pre pics before I started that I need to throw up, and I will ASAP. Still gettin settled in to the new house so I just got my internet up and running. Prolly be spendin a lot more time on here comin up to get some new ideas and find out which direction I want to head with a new workout. That way I can get some of my info updated as well as finally get my pics up. Well.. finally headin in the right direction… excited to find that person I’ve been missing for a long time… I’ll be in touch..

A couple weeks back into things. Workouts are going good, nutrition is slowly coming on. Work interferes as much as it can with that aspect. But feeling great and gettin some strength back finally. Bout time to start up some sups again and add the size. Hopefully the shoulder will hold up as well as the knees. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Ended up takin two weeks off. Started back today with a bang. I have been strugglin with a shoulder injury, but after a couple weeks rest, felt great today. Had a spectacular workout and I know for a fact I’m gonna be feelin it tom. Hopin to start gettin back to where I was before I left for the desert last year. Think this is the motivation I needed. Lookin forward to kickin azz and packin it on!!

Been battlin a shoulder injury the last two weeks. Tryin to figure out what the heck is wrong. Dropped weight in several of my exercises and just high reppin it until I figure out whether it’s a strain or not. Otherwise, gains are comin with the rest and things are going pretty good. Still not jumpin up in weight, but once I start gettin back into great condition, I’ll start seein a rise. Gettin my motivatin back and startin to gain that good ol edge that I’ve missed for quite some time. Lookin forward to the weeks ahead and hopin the ol’ shoulder heals up.

A little motivation material..

June 26, 2007

My bro hooked me up w/ this… found it quite interesting… considering all the time we all spend staring into a mirror picking ourselves apart.

THE MAN IN THE GLASS

When you get what you want in your struggle for wealth

and the world makes you king for a day,

just go to the mirror and look at yourself

and see what that man has to say.

For it isn’t your father, or mother, or wife

who judgement on you must pass,

the fellow whose verdict counts most in life

is the one staring back from the glass.

Some people may think you’re a straight shooting chum

and call you a wonderful guy,

but the man in the glass says you’re only a bum

if you can’t look him straight in the eye.

He’s the fellow to please, never mind all the rest

for he’s with you clear up to the end,

and you have passed your most difficult test

if the man in the glass is your friend.

You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life

and get pats on your back as you pass,

but your final reward will be heartaches and tears

if you’ve cheated the man in the glass.

Been on my new workout for almost two weeks now. No gains yet. Actually dropped a little weight, but it was probably just water weight. Been struggling a little bit, trying to find that edge again and get my motivation level up. Thinking about switching to a new gym. The atmosphere at the gym on base just isn’t a good hardcore gym. It would probably also help to get a partner to start pushing me a little more. We’ll see what happens over the next few weeks.

Just starting a new workout cycle and going to start adding some size to this slender frame. Legs is always the big problem because of my fight against my genetics. Oh well! Sometimes it’s a little difficult to keep up the strict diet and exercise while I remain in the military, but I almost always find a good excuse to get to the gym or get some grub down. Looking forward to some great gains!
