Well, might as well type something.

I’m on my way now. I am starting to figure out this site and what it has to offer a little more each day. Saturday night (1/12/08) I decided I had enough and had to do something to make me feel better. My physical and mental health has really dropped and the only way to get it back is to take charge of my life, so here goes. I decided that a twelve week routine would be a great place to start, so I read many and settled on Kris Gethin’s 12 week program that is posted on BB.com. Sunday (1/13/08) I took photos (very sad looking, still don’t have the nerve to post them yet) and took my family for a 3 mile walk to kick start the week. Monday morning I got up a ½ hour early and walked for 1.6 miles then hit the gym after work. I have the first workout I did on my page somewhere, then came home and ran my girls to their dance and cheer classes. Right before dinner I threw in another 20 minutes on the treadmill. This morning I woke up a little sore but jumped out of bed and hit the treadmill for 20 minutes before a quick shower and off to work. Now I’ve been home for a while now, spoke with the wife about my day, helped my girls with some homework then jumped back on the treadmill for 30 more minutes. I feel good over all. It’s amazing how much negative thoughts enter my head every day now that I have committed to get my life back, the good thing is that I have committed and can send those thoughts elsewhere whenever they show up. Ok, off to dinner now. Thanks for letting me rant.
