The Test

AHHH! That’s pretty much all I have to say about this advancement exam I have tomorrow. I was going to get off work early.. at 1130 to go home, study, eat a good dinner, go to bed early and be up and ready for the test tomorrow. But now I’m waiting for my eval and it won’t be ready to sign untill 1130 when this was supposed to be done weeks ago… I’m just feeling very stressed out. I think I may go for a swim just to relieve some stress so I feel better.

 Think it’ll help? I hope so.

 I’ll write next about the exam.

Had a great "good morning run" this morning. Ran a little over 2 miles at about an 8:20 min/mile pace. Not too shabby for me really not being a runner. But I’m hitting the gym or maybe the pool later.. not sure which but I’m gonna do something else today.

 In addition to my fitness I’m taking college classes and studying for advancement. Test is on the 17th of this month! I’m pretty excited! Can’t wait to get frocked in cali!! WOO HOO

 Okay that’s it for now..

Labor Day

Well I did get a 3-day weekend and it was awesome. But today is actually Labour Day and i’m working. Such is life. But on the other end of things my workouts last week went really well and I’m looking forward to jumping right into this week with all my motivation from the weekend.

 Can’t wait for work to end and gym time to begin!

0744 - Sitting at my desk at work just not wanting to work. I got up extra early this morning to get in a 2 mile "wake up" run. Eh.. it kinda worked. I like running in the morning and doing the rest of my workout in the afternoons but I hate getting up in the mornings. I’m really not a morning person. So I guess it’s a toss up if I’m really benefiting from this or if it’s just making me tired at work that much faster. Either way I guess I boost my metabolism in the mornings so maybe it will help me lose weight. I guess that’s one good point of it.

 I got an e-mail from one of my friends back in the states that used to be in rescue swimmer school with me. He’s out of the Navy now but he’s training to run in the Chicago Urbanathlon. I’m pretty excited for him and I’ll be home in time to watch him race. So that kind of inspires me.

 Well I suppose I should get to work or something like that. Even tho we’re all just hanging out in the office anyways.
