Leg Day and I am Starvingggggggggggg

Boy!! I am hungry!! and I mean hungry. I eat a meal and then not 30minutes later I am ready to eat again. I suppose it will settle down, I am lifting more and more and haven’t missed any workouts. I am trying to eat very clean except for Friday nights when I have a treat dinner and some lollies (candy).

Upped my weights on my leg day today. Am now squatting 45kgs (99lbs) and walking lunges 3 x 20 with 66lbs. I am pleased that I am breaking through my plateau. I think MM has helped. Didn’t do cardio in the gym as I had to walk the dog (30mins) and then running up and down the basketball court whilst coaching my daughters under 8’s team.

Rest day tomorrow……

Working Out Harder…..

This week I started to lift most of my starting weights by 5kgs. I have got to the stage after 4 weeks that good doms are rare. I am getting stronger every week. Still very motivated and am going every day and really still enjoying it. I have added in a couple more slowler cardio sessions each week mainly after my upper body workouts.

Basketball is great, playing better than last week. Thursday nights basketball training is going to stop being such a good cardio session after we decided to get our shooting percentages up, hence the reason I have added in the extra cardio sessions.

Clean eating is going ok not stressing though too much about it.

4 weeks until hubby is home, we are meeting him in Thailand for little holiday and then bringing him home for good…I can’t wait, my exhaustion levels are through the roof at the moment :)

Infection and A Bad Basketball Game

Arghhh I am disgusting lately, I have picked up a staph infection and now am on heavy anti-biotics. Could this be from the gym or my school germ kids…lol. Feeling ok or so I thought until I played basketball!!! Man, was I out of touch!! and to make matters worse we have a new coach and he must think I play like that all the time! I hope tomorrow at the gym is better…..

Had my parents down for the weekend. Ate badly and they left the chocolate in MY fridge when they left…..It was nice having someone cooking for me and at least for me….some company in the evenings…..

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm I think I am feeling sorry for myself…………….sorry!!

Husband Gone Again So Blogging Rare

Can tell my husbands gone again so again time for computer blogging is rare. So a quick one today just to say I am alive.

My workouts are still going great, cardio fantastic; have added some more cardio to supplement my basketball, eating is good and I am tired. Still loving MM and finding even after 3 weeks my strength is increasing and my body is not as sore. MM and I are going to change my programme every 6 weeks and that should keep me going well.

I am so busy with the kids and house and business but am still going to the gym with bells on!! It is the one thing that I truly enjoy and I love going.

Today is my day off apart from basketball training tonight..am making myself stay at home, read the paper, blog and watch a dvd.

Arghhhhh I Hate Walking Lunges

Today was my 4th workout with MM. It was great but I nearly gave up my breakfast. Bloody walking lunges, I don’t mind squats, one legged squats, backward lunges but I really struggle with the walking lunges esp if I have 24kgs in my hands! Anyway I got through them and now I am going to learn to love them….in a few weeks I will be raving about how much I love them.

Anyway MM was very knowlegable and positively supportive throughout I finished my gruelling workout, didn’t throw up, paid him the money and sms’d him a new referral. Wonderful how business works.

Ate too much tonight, will tighten up tomorrow.

So tonight I had tired, tired legs but had to coach my daughters basketball team (under 8’s) and then run up and down with them for the game…that’s exercise I didn’t count on…esp after last night murder basketball training.

Total rest day tomorrow, no cardio and no lifting…my 1st this week….I will probably have restless legs.
