3rd MM Workout…He’s Killing Me!!!

Doing great workouts with MM and loving it. Shoulders, traps and calves today. I went hard and of course am improving my knowledge and form just by listening to him. Did some smith machine presses for the 1st time and also worked my traps for the 1st time. My abs have never had so much attention and their loving it!!

I am hungry lately and had to administer some medicinal carbs today…they were needed!

Played basketball this morning and rebounded like a champ. I couldn’t give up my basketball..it’s such good fun and it means I don’t have to get on the treadmill so often…

My tri’s are so sore from yesterday and I can tell my shoulders are going to be complaining tomorrow…at least I am getting my moneys worth.

Rest day tomorrow except for basketball training in the evening…

2nd Workout With MM…Nice Having A Spotter

Well today was my 2nd workout with MM, mammoth man for those who didn’t read my previous blogs. He is great. He must have realised I was stronger than I looked and he adjusted his expectations and made me sweat!! He is so passionate about bbing and I know he will be more involved than any other PT….Chest and Tris today and I upped my weights in chest flies, incline db press and the bench…finally! It is so great having a spotter…I was able to do skull crushers and not worry about dropping the bar on my head.

30minutes cardio after and of course a shake and banana :)

My eating is going so well….I am feeling leaner but refuse to get on the scales…still….why destroy the illusion :)

1st Workout With Mammoth Man (MM)

Well today was the 1st day with my new personal trainer…MM or Mammoth Man. It was great, he actually listened to my dire warning last week at my assessment….if he makes me too sore to function, I will never go back to him. We did my back/bi’s today and I learnt a lot about muscles and exactly what part of what I was working. I also did a couple of new exercises for my back and 2 new ones for my biceps.

Was a bit pushed for time so just 1 hour workout today, tomorrow I will fit in a lot of cardio.

I am looking forward to seeing some great results with MM. I will be using him x 2 week but this week x 4 because I am going through my whole program. He is also great with the food/diet as he is competing in 2 weeks.

Husband is home for 2 weeks, I can smell my omelette cooking…..

Long Time, No Blog….

It’s been so long since I have blogged….so, so long. Reason? Well single parenting, own business, house blah, blah blah…and of course at the gym everyday.

I am not prepared to stop going to the gym or my basketball so I guess until my husband gets back the blogging will have to be less frequent.

Gym and bodybuilding is going fantastically well. I am super motivated still and my new gym is so supportive it is making it easy. My gym is full of bodybuilders and i mean serious ones….fantastic. There is also a couple of pumped women as well.

My workouts are getting stale and I found myself not finishing the last rep or two, I also need to learn a lot more exercises…so now I have the biggest man in the gym as a personal trainer a couple of times a week….he is so passionate about bodybuilding and is taking a great interest in training me which is great. No doubt I will blogging about this some more…..

My clean eating is getting there…probably not enough food at times when I am just too tired to make myself something. Hopefully things will be better for the next 2 weeks, hubby is home for a break…..he arrives tonight…..HURRAY
