I’m Meltingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

It is too hot here, too hot to walk outside, I saw a guy running today and wanted to put him in my car..he looked a bit sweaty though and I just had my car cleaned…so I let him die by the side of the road from heat exhaustion….lol

Leg workout today in my swanky new gym with muscle bound men all around..seriously. They are not unfriendly and I get a couple of nods and a few strange looks when I started to do my squats and deadlifts. I refuse to go to the ‘women’s gym’ upstairs. The dumbells only go up to 10kgs and there is no squat rack and bench press…they need to make the main gym less intimidating for women…I figure I am doing my bit…I bet some women come and join me soon….waiting, waiting….

Feeling too hot but good today…my quads are sore already.

Have started a journal in the female forum and now am taking my eating clean seriously.

I am seriously melting……………………………….

Rest Day But I Am Going Tomorrow…

Birthday and last day was today therefore spending time with him became a priority…yes I can still prioritise……

Oh and I ate and ate and ate and drunk beer and laze around …it was so nice..oh and I went for a shop!!!! lol

So tomorrow it’s LEGS and a killer workout in my new gym with lots of options for working the pins….ipod in….I will be happy….

 

I Am So Close To A Set Of Pull ups

I am so close to a set of 8 I can smell it…and it’s not the smelly men in my gym…not my new, slick gym. I can’t wait until I can pump out a set……5 today!!!! unassisted and then of course I am up and down like a yo yo…re pegging the assist according to my exhuastion levels.

I didn’t relise how much pull up’s exhaust you…I had to move down 5kgs on lat pulldowns and 2.5kgs on my single arms rows. It didn’t help that these were after my pull ups, deadlifts and bent over rows…lol

Still like this gym, they make up shakes in a blender after (very cheap) and they have let my husband in for free this past week….there is love…..

My eating is very bad, just went out to dinner for my birthday (tomorrow) with my basketball team. Oh I love being back in Australia….and basketball and lifting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Chest, Tri’s In My Slick New Gym

I bit the bullet and joined the slick, new, fantastic equipment gym with no love. Oh well, no love I can handle because there are unlimited bench’s!! smoooooooooth cables!!! and multiple machines for everything. It’s amazing!!! So I joined for 3 months, got another month free and I receive all the PT sessions I want (unlimited) and they let my husband in for free (he goes back to Russia on Saturday)….maybe there is some love :)

So this morning chest and tri’s and it was great to have an assisted dip machine…I am very nearly ready to be able to do some unassisted…

Didn’t feel so strong on my bench press today, feel like I have flatten a little. My eating has been very off lately so back to the clean eating etc as from today.

If only eating right was as easy as getting to the gym…….

3 Pullups In A Row…On My Way To A Set!

Yesterday I went to the new gym around the corner. This gym is NICE…brand new heavy equipment, lots of benchs (at least 12), 20 or so treadmills…you get the picture! I had given this gym some thought but dismissed it because it felt cold and unfriendly. The tin shed finally got to me, it took me forever to get the pin in a stack that I almost left that machine. So I went around the corner and had a test run…it was great. I didn’t care that there was no love….I was pumped.

3 pull up unassisted and only 10kgs assist on the rest (3 sets of 8) ….I am on my way!

Things are going well with my husband at home, more help and boy do I need it at the moment……

MY Legs Are Collapsing From Under Me…..

Today I paid my A$30 for some new exercises with the fab woman personal trainer at the gym. OMG…my legs are collapsing under me and tomorrow I won’t be able to walk…

I am finding my squats and leg presses are making my legs a little bulkier than I want so I went to change my routine to include other exercises and mix it up a bit. So today I included Walking Lunges, Squat tuck jumps, Straight legged deadlifts, Jump lunges, Leg Extensions, Step touches, Hamstring Leans, Ball Inner Thighs, Single Calf Raises. I really stuggled to walk out of the gym…I don’t know what I am going to be like tomorrow..lol

Amazing how very little weight and a bit of explosive moves can effect you.

I have booked her next week to kill me with ab exercises
