Amazing Myself!!

Quite surprised at myself! I haven’t been doing body blogs much at the moment, spending my time on the internet looking for a car, this doesn’t mean I have dropped my bundle!!  I am working very hard at the gym…6 days (4 lifting) a week. Really enjoying my program. I am doing a body part a week with legs x 2 week. Nice DOMs a day after and lifting heavier weights than before. Still manage a 30-40minutes cardio session after except of course on leg days, and a nice long session x 2 week.

Now the bad news…eating is not clean!! Really have to clean up my act..more protein, less sugar!! Out of routine and constantly eating at family/friends houses.

Feeling great and despite not eating well, have more energy than I had in Moscow…maybe it’s the sugar. Getting tired of being the only woman here who squats…and seeing very very bad form on the machines!!! Where are the trainers??? Someone everyday is bound to be injured…OMG I hate watching it!! I will need to wear a blindfold as well as ipod earplugs! lol

Ahhhh finally have settled down after the busiest 2 weeks I have had in a while! Finally in a townhouse for the next 5 weeks with a fantastic free gym 5 minutes walk away. It sure beats the sh%t hotel gym with 1 of the dumbells missing in almost every weight…very frustrating. Oh well time to get very, very serious!

Eating has been very bad today but I put all the kids nice food in the bin tonight…they will have to eat it quick in the car and not bring it into the house. We are enjoying eating good food too…one of my daughter ate 4 apples today!! It is lovely buying canned tuna and chicken shop chicken….don’t eat the skin of course. Oh and of course turning on the tap and filling up your glass with tap water…and drinking it!!!!!!!!

Hard to appreciate things until they are gone….x

Too Sore or Not??? That is the question!!

OMG since I have been going on my own and doing my 4 day a week workout….I have been so sore….of course only in the body part/s I worked that night. Does that mean I wasn’t pushing myself hard enough with the trainer? Or is it just that I have the opportunity and time to push that body part harder?

Last night I did legs…..I couldn’t do any cardio after!!! I could barely do my cool down….I am so sore today..of course still functioning fully but with groans and moans…

Today was a rest day….had to do a 30min slow walk to try and loosen up the legs…..

Eating well but is driving me crazy not preparing my own food and knowing exactly what goes in it…also finding it hard to find a protein powder I like so I have been eating lots of fish/chicken and seafood. Drinking lots of yummy Aussie water that I can drink from the tap!!! I hope I don’t gain……..my pants are a little tight…or did the laundry service shrink them a little…..lol. Oh well a good girls dancing night out will be good for me :)

Still going….trying to make time!!

As you can imagine I have had a very busy 1st week here seeing family and friends…..have actually managed to lift and do some cardio every day!!

Eating well but lightly as everyone is cooking for me and I can’t really know what is in it all…..can’t all be bad as I have lost another kilo???

Back in Hotel tonight after a big family reunion and can’t wait to get to the hotel gym and do my tri’s and chest…..will do a lovely long run…..ahhhhhhhhhh

Still want to Run…..1 day to go!!

Want to Run……Restless Legs

This ‘not going to the gym’ thing is very, very hard for me….my legs are ready and so is my mind……arrrgghhhhhhhh!!!!!!

Can finally go for a big gym/cardio session on Friday…..bug#er having naughty hair!

Eating well but no great protein powder here so far…..the one called "Horleys Ice" is making me gag…tried to order some of my normal one from this site but Australian customs won’t let it in!!! Really going to have to make some calls….funny how you get used to certain ones.

My body blogs are never going to be as regular here but I feel I still need them and fitday to keep focused.

Was very sore after my leg/glutes workout but felt great that I managed to push myself without my trainer. I missed him counting for me though…..I keep losing count :(

10pm last night went to the gym….worked upper body and did well although took a while….I also did another fast interval run for 25minutes and lots of stretches.

Will have 3 days off gym now as have had my hair chemically straightened….and can’t wet or sweat in it for 3 days….seriously!!!!!! lol. Can’t believe that is the reason I will have to take a break………Eating well but a bit of an upset tummy due to water differences and jetlag…..but doing well.

Finding all the family/friends hard work because of the food!! Lucky there is so many of them….I fly low under the radar..with no potatoes on my plate!!

Hello Me in Australia

So today is 1st day in Australia…only took 4 days to get here…2 day stopover in Singapore. So feeling a little fuzzy but very good about being around friendly Australians again.

Eating not enough but good food. I have surprised myself by NOT eating all the things I missed and loved. I want to start as I mean to go on here so will save my favourites for my treat days or if I have left over calories!!!

Managed a very good interval run in Singapore…in the heat! Felt great after! Tonight went down to the hotel gym and worked my legs and glutes with a 30mins slow cardio after. Felt good but bit of a headache and fuzzy…..jetlag!

My husbands bday tomorrow…..I am sure he will make a wish for me to go to the gym…lol!!!!!!

Rest Day…I really need it!!!

Sore, tired and enough aches and pains to warrant being a Grandma!! Lucky for me a rest day and probably won’t go the gym before the airport tomorrow, not because of no time but I will still be sore.

Hardly ate at all today but am about to fix that. Had a hair appointment that went for 6 hours…the hairdresser stuffed up and I had to get it fixed…..like I could afford the time :(

Have hardly thought about leaving tomorrow..probably my soreness and the grave possibility of a hair horror…lol. Will be excited tomorrow….
