Ultimate Nutrition Presents the 2010 Joe Weider’s Olympia Weekend
Farmington, CT September 28th, 2009 — After an impressive presence at the 2009 Joe Weider’s Olympia Weekend, Ultimate Nutrition announced today their partnership with the 2010 Joe Weider’s Olympia Weekend. The Olympia Weekend, currently known as "The 2010 Olympia Weekend," shall be known as “Ultimate Nutrition presents Joe Weider’s 2010 Olympia Weekend.”
The 2010 Joe Weider’s Olympia Weekend is scheduled to take place at the Orleans Arena and the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada in September 2010 and is the premier in bodybuilding competitions.

Congratulations to Amanda Latona for taking home the top spot at the year’s FLEX Bikini Model Search contest. I was shared my thoughts on the competition after the prelims however when you look at the top 16, it was a good lineup. Keep in mind I was not being critical of the contest, the contest is a HUGE opportunity for women to get noticed. My hope is that women do a bit more research and present themselves better in future events. It’s the nature of the beast when you have an open competition. Some people may have entered because they lost weight and felt good about themselves. Other women appeared to be slightly delusional thinking they are a top FITness model, and leaves you wondering… Have you ever picked up and looked at FLEX magazine? The other part of this contest is being a spokesmodel. That means you need to be able to articulate well and not sound like a dufus when asked questions.
As you can see the top five women look the part of what a FITness model should look like. Amanda was without question the favorite in the audience and the clear winner in my opinion. Mary has a good look in the runner-up position and Tianna Ta improved her stage presence and tightened up her physique from Team Universe. Props to the women in the top five as well as the other women who brought a fit physique to this competition.

With Jenn Gates out this year, expect the Figure Olympia card to be bigger than ever before. One of those competitors that would like to make a name for herself this year is Meriza DeGuzman. In 2007, in her first Olympia and only her second contest as a pro, she was just happy to be on the biggest stage of them all. Two years later, that’s not the case. She is in it to make a statement. Judging by how 2009 has treated her so far, expect Meriza to do really well this weekend.

Well it is Ultimate Nutrition’s first year as the title sponsor of the Olympia and they are coming in with a BANG! You will not be able to turn around with out having Ultimate Nutrition right there.
Besides having the new Full Combat line there will be the Ultimate Gear Booth and even things such as the Ultimate Obstacle Course!
